    Good grabber.I bought this to retrieve items that go over the back of my deck--the drop is about the reach of this grabber. I am really please with the strength of it. If there are weeds in the way of the bean bag or ball or napkin I'm trying to rescue, it just rips them out as I go. I didn't see any reviews of this for non-fruit purposes, but it's great for mine. 5Yup, Just works and it is FUN to useI got this for my 74 year old mother for her birthday. To go along with the fold up wagon (so she would stop carrying the apples when she picks from the orchard on the hill). I have to say this thing works better that I expected!!!! She loves it, it was able to reach the highest of the apples from my overgrown apple tree in my back yard and the apple tree at her friends house. Both trees are out of control. Picture 74 year old grandmother and 4 year old grandson fighting over who's turn it is to pick the apple. It was easy to use for a 74 year old and a 4 year old. In the end everyone had to have a turn!! Yes it is worth the money it would and keeps the apple save! They were hunting out every apple tree! 5Great for PapayaThis thing is the best picker I have found for picking papayas. It works great and is well made. It has three adjustable lengths and reaches quite far. I used the basket type fruit picker for large papayas and it didn t work as well as this fruit picker. I worry a little about how robust it will turn out to be, but it works great. I don't have to use the ladder nearly as much now. 5BEST PICKER EVER! Awesome fruit picker!!! Only thing we would change is wish the head was a little stronger (it's made of plastic) if it were made of metal like the rest of the picker it would be better. We have a huge orange tree and we got most of the oranges off in no time! We also have a grapefruit tree that we could not reach them unless we got on a ladder. With this picker no more ladder! I found them instructive on getting the right technique.We have giant papaya. The picker works on them without damaging the fruit. Because of the extension required to pick the papaya, having a second person on the receiving end is helpful. The papaya are very heavy when they are so large.There are predrilled holes in the extension arm. They lock in. You must lock in to operate the squeeze grip.Overall, this has been well worth the money and I'm very happy. 5Grapefruit picker!!!I bought this to pick grapefruit from our trees. At the end of the season it is sometimes hard to reach the fruit through the twigs high in the tree but with the Zenport it's as easy as pie. I also debated weather or not to get the smaller one. You definitely want to buy the longer one to get the fruit high in the tree. Don't hesitate on this purchase. I've told three of my neighbors. 5Doesn't work.Unfortunately, this doesn't work. The mechanism used to grasp the fruit is very weak. It doesn't keep a grasp when you pull away from the fruit. The grasping mechanism is also inconsistent on whether it contracts into a grasp at all (i.e., when pressing on the handle, it doesn't always grasp). 1
