    Awful smell Do not buy this! I am 1 day beyond the return window so I cannot return this item. Immediately after I bought it, I noticed a very strong chemical smell. It smelled like plumbing glue, but extremely strong. I washed it multiple times, and decided to go ahead and put soap in it and let it sit, hoping it would make it better. After a few weeks, I decided to try it again. Now the smell is just as strong, and the soap that I put in the container has turned to about water consistency. I cannot express how much this worries me to think what exactly is in this container that could cause this. Let me remind you, I washed it multiple times when I first got it. 1exactly as pictured when I first received this I thought it to be too small. But, I put it in the vanity area of my bathroom and decided that I did like it...a lot. exactly as pictured and goes with the shower curtain perfectly!! I will post a photo at at later time. 4Great buy!! Great shower curtain hooks!! Packaged well, fast shipping. No complaints!! Beautfully painted. Be careful not to drop them as they may break, material seems like hardened clay/glass. I highly recommend these. 5Pretty by smelly Really wish I would have read the reviews on the soap pump before purchase. Seems everyone has had the same problem as I have. Loved the look of all the pieces and they go great in my bathroom but the strong chemical smell from inside the soap pump is horrible. I have used vinegar, bleach and baking soda all to no avail. After a day the soap inside takes on the strong smell. Not good. And the pump inself has turned greenish. Such a shame since the pieces are so cute. 2Light and easy to wash I love the design of this shower curtain. It's lovely to look at and it's not overwhelming with patterns. I ended up matching my bathroom to the curtain. Now I have a beach-themed bathroom and I love it. The material is lightweight and lets enough light through the shower which is also a plus. It took me 20 minutes to remove them all, and I cut myself on the plastic. They're shower curtain hooks, not the nation's gold supply. Get over yourselves. 2Wow this product is looking so amazing but when you fill it up with soap and ... Wow this product is looking so amazing but when you fill it up with soap and you wash hands you figure out the chemical smell from the inside is so strong it even beat the smell of soap. I washed that many times to get rid of the really bad smell and it's impossible. Do not buy this product. So bad. 1Looks great, smells awful! I bought the matching toothbrush holder a while back and decided to buy this soap dispenser too since it matched. It looks great! However, when I opened it, it had a very strong (not pleasant) smell. I aired it out, washed it out with hot water/soap, let soapy water set, I even tried vinegar, and nothing got the smell out. So I gave up and just went ahead and put the soap in it. As you may think, it was a bad idea. The soap smells bad too.Oh and some green stuff comes out of the top also. (My soap is white) 3Buyer beware This is beautiful but when I got it the smell inside was awful. It smells like sticking your face in a can of paint. I washed it, put baking soda in it, bleached it, tried vinegar. NOTHING is helping. I even let it air dry outside for a week. Now I'm past the returning time frame, but I wish I had just returned it. I can't even use it because I can't get rid of the smell. Otherwise this would have been perfect. Makes me sad. 1Good and Bad. I bought these to match my nautical shower curtain and I will say they are beautiful and look wonderful. However, the little clip that goes over the shower curtain isn't deep enough or curved enough to hold onto the rod well so I was constantly having to reclip them back on the rod. I dealt with it for about a month and then ended up switching them out for some that are completely closed around (like circles) that won't come off of my rod. 3
