    Seriously Sturdy, Seriously Convenient, and simple to use When I found this Accessory for the Wall Control System I thought-great idea but why so expensive? So I looked into options... Typical cabinet mount paper towel holders, counter top holders, and then I looked at this Wall Control unit again with the same idea that I lead me to buy galvanized panels: I wanted something permanent, Heavy Duty, Versatile, and if it looked good, so much the better. It is Seriously convenient-with a shelf for cleaning supplies-all of them . The paper towel dispensers I looked at were all one thing, and not generally heavy duty or Convenient-most took up the desktop real estate a pegboard system is meant to clear up...So I bought it..and it made sense, one and done, get back to work-cleaning supplies are conveniently held and easily accessed. The spindle for the paper towel roll is held in place by two rubber caps that can slide off-not sure of their permanence, but they work easily and well. After getting it in place and using it, it just made sense. A great Addition to y Wall Control work bench organization! 5Great Addition Over a Work Space Got this to add over my work space in my garage. It mounted easily on the Wall Control metal pegboards I ordered. It's easy to move around to different spots...I had to fiddle with it to get it exactly where I wanted, because I'm a nut for organization, and it let me do that very well.After mounting it was nice and sturdy. I've been able to rip paper towels off without it rattling, and that's even after I put a small level, measuring tape, and razor knife on the shelf about the roll (the shelf is a nice touch). It's been able to hold large rolls of paper towels with no problem, which is nice if you're going to make a mess.As with all the Wall Control products I've used, this is a very high quality, well designed, heavy duty piece of gear. Nicely done, Wall Control. 5OK I'd give it five stars but it is over-priced for being a simple option for this great set. 4Good holder for spools or straps Great for holding ribbons or bag straps or any type of large spool. I use it with the rest of my Wall Control accessories. A few cons:1. The shelf doesn't really stay on the brackets on its own, it needs to be weighted down. This may be because of slight warping of the pegboard during installation or removal/transport, or maybe not. However, I'm glad to have the shelf there to increase usability of the space.2. The rod is pretty annoying to manipulate once installed, especially if there are spools on it. The round slots that hold the rod are shaped such that the rod cannot be lifted directly vertical out of the slots (probably a good thing as the rod will not randomly fall off as you fiddle with it). You have to remove one of the white caps, and slide the rod horizontally, simultaneously keeping it level so all the spools don't come off. Not a deal-breaker, just requires some practice and careful maneuvering.Overall I love most of Wall Control's accessories and boards, and this is a great addition to my craft center. 4Works great! If you are willing to pay for the Wall Control system, then these types of accessories/hangers are wonderful. Works and fits great. Did tighten the tabs on the sides of the attachment points to reduce how much it moves on the wall control board. 5Great product, great customer service. Very pleased with all my Wall Control purchases! I appreciate the quality of the items and that they are manufactured in the USA! My package arrived with one piece missing. I emailed the company and within minutes I received shipping notification of the replacement piece. This is a great company to do business with. Check out all of their products on their website. 4Must have addition for any work space Works great for the boyfriends "drone zone" that I purchased the pegboard for. All his tools are organized and with the addition of this paper towel holder, he has additional shelf space AND paper towels ready whenever he needs them. 5Extremely lame, impractical I thought this would be a nice accessory for the Wall Control pegboard panels I recently bought-which I love. This, however, is cheesy by design and not a good accessory, imho. To replace or load a roll of paper towels, you need to slide the wood dowel out through the side, after removing a cheesy rubber cap. This requires space next to wherever this is mounted, the width of that same wood dowel, to change the roll. The usual point of these pegboard panels is to use them to hang stuff-so having to leave a clear area next to this paper towel holder, the width of the dowel and presumably the height of a new roll of paper towels. Yeah. Nothanks. Returning. I've got the basic paper towel type holders in various places in the garage already. They'll do the job, and they're cheap and more functional. 2Awesome! The brackets wiggle side to side a little bit, but only if you try. Shelf is sturdy. I like the dowel caps as well, keeping it from sliding around. Highly recommend for the garage or anywhere you can use a towel :) 5Works, but kind of flimsy and pricey for what it is Headline says it all. I probably wouldn't purchase this item again - but my workbench / pegboard does look more complete and filled out. The shelf space behind the roller is not very deep. 3
