I'm finding that the holes are a bit too small and get clogged very easily. Even soap residue (as well as saliva after ... Even soap residue (as well as saliva after brushing my teeth) clogs the mesh. I find myself cleaning the product with a brush at least once a week. 3Love this product I love this product. I have it in the majority of the drains in my home.- the girls bathroom where sink and bath were clogging a couple times a year- the prep sink in the kitchen- the utility sink in garageAll these areas were constant problems for me until I used these strainers. I haven t had any issues since using them! 5Rusts I like these little drain sieves -- they catch everything. But why doesn't someone make them isinf 100% stainless steel? The sieve part doesn't rust, but the ring that hold the sieve immediately rusted. 3they work fine but ... The picture makes it look like these are perforated rigid metal. They are actually just flexible mesh. I looked at the pic after buying them and think it is a legit pic of the actual item and that the perforated rigid metal appearance is just an optical illusion I didn't scrutinize closely enough before purchase. That said, they work fine and the middle size one fit my laundry sink, which I was having trouble getting the right size for. Plus, great company name, almost worth an extra star just for that :-) 4Work really well. The last strainer I had was a pain to clean; it strained out the hair I don't want to go down my tub drain, but collected the soap, too, which meant I had to soak the strainer to get it clean. Worse, quite soon some of the wires began to break along the edges, making the cleaning that much more difficuly.So far, this strainer doesn't seem to suffer from those problems. The looser mesh it's constructed of collects the hair that caused clogs in my system, but the soap drains away with the water, making it much easier to clean, which means I don't have to scurbit, meing in turn that, hopefully, no wires will break. If you want everything but water strained out of your draining tub, this may not be the product for you. On the other hand, if you're looking for a strainer to help you avoid hair clogs, this works great. 5Discolored right away! These strainers catch everything that they should...even things you wouldn't even think of but the material that they are made of discolored very fast. I have bought these from another place before and they never turned color but these ones did not hold up well. Plan on cleaning these out often because even soap will clog the strainers. I like the idea of these but I don't like how cheap they look. 2Quality made and work well These strainer work great. I removed the grill thing in my shower and just use the medium size to collect hair and other shower/bath debris. It works incredibly well an I no longer have a clogged shower drain. The large one I use in my kitchen because I removed my old garbage disposer. It works really well and I just wash it in the dishwasher once a week to keep it really clean. It's made of quality mesh, as are the other sizes in the package. I would buy these again and highly recommend them if you have problems with clogging sinks/bath tubs. 5Love the heavy duty large strainer I feel odd raving about a drain trap, but I have to say I love the large strainer (4 1/2) Heavy Duty Perforated Cup! I do the dishes and the lighter weight version of this strainer lifts up a little bit from the sink and allows stuff to get into the drain pipe and cause problems. The heavy duty strainer has a larger outside lip and is weightier, so that nothing slips underneath it. I praise it every time I do the dishes . 5Works well but rusts quickly I'm not sure why it's suddenly so very difficult to find mesh sink strainers, but I went to every hardware and/or big box store in my area to no avail, so I ordered this set. Honestly, I just needed the one sized for the bath tub, but it was less expensive to buy a pack. These do work very well; the bath tub one fit perfectly into my drain and catches a ton of hair. Unfortunately, I've only had it about 2 weeks and it's already getting rust spots so I'll start looking for another option. Even so, if you need a mesh sink strainer and you need it now, this is an acceptable product for the price. 3not reliable. both the smaller ones and the one of medium size fits the regular sink. The biggest one fits in the sink in the kitchen. The price, of course, is higher.any way, all 4 strainers in this set work for me. Considering the price, I am pretty satisfied with them.3 months later, one of the smaller one is broken already. 3
