    Perfect Full disclosure- we are towel snobs. We only use Lands End towels because they are wonderfully soft. We bought these because we needed them fast, fully expecting to replace them shortly afterward. I had to wash them three times to deal with the lint they produced and even then I had to run them through the dryer while cleaning the lint trap multiple times. I also had to cut off a LOT of loose strings. They are now our favorite towels. We love them. If you re looking to save some $$ and put in a little effort, these are worth it. 5Great Towels - Great Value Great Value - Must wash before use - Warm wash/Extra Cold Rinse cycle - very little detergent needed - use Small amount of Borax with detergent and also use White Vinegar in both Wash Cycle (1/2-3/4 cup) and put another 1/2 cup in Bleach Dispenser for Rinse cycle. DONT USE FABRIC SOFTNER - The Vinegar acts as a Fabric Softner, chemical smell remover and is good for the fabric overall - much better than harsh chemicals found in laundry products - same goes for using Borax (softens water, makes detergents more effective using less and helps release excess detergent from fabrics ESPECIALLY super absorbent fabrics like these towels. Wash cycle was set to cotton/sturdy with extra rinse (3 cold water rinse & spin dry) - Dryer set to cotton High- wrinkle control to "off"After initial wash - Super absorbent, soft and fluffy, maintained original color - purchased Beige and Plum. Lots of Lint collected in Dryer Lint Filter (over an inch thick) - this is to be expected with 8 new towels being washed for the very first time - make sure lint filter is cleaned out after towels are dry. 5Four Stars Nice quality of towels and great price. I do recommend washing them asap. They smell a little weird. 4Initial feel and comfort after the first wash was good, and as expected Received the towels in the mail (finally), and I immediately threw them in the wash. Cold wash, tumble light dry until damp and air dried. Right off the bat when I took the towels out of the dryer to hang, I noticed a lot of the stitching came undone. Pilled in some areas and still has a lot of lint left on the towels. Initial feel and comfort after the first wash was good, and as expected, which saved this product from getting a 1 star rating. 2Excellent Quality Good Price! For the money you cannot beat this set of towels. I am greatly impressed with the quality. They are not cheap made! I am buying more of different colors and also sending some as gifts for Christmas to my kids. 5Great Towels for the price I purchased the brown towels and chose these after reading so many positive reviews. They look just like the picture and are true to color. These are definitely worth the money. Like many of the other reviews I read, I had to wash the towels 3x before I used them to remove all of the lint. They are thick and soft. They also have great absorbency. They haven't faded and I was so impressed I decided to purchase another set. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because after washing I noticed unraveling on some parts of the pattern. Not a big deal to me but might become a problem in the future. Overall I love the towels and I would recoommend them to anyone looking for good towels at a good price. 4Don't waste your time. Fake reviews. Just no. If you appreciate quality, it's not to be found in these towels. Waste of time and money. Bad stitching. Loose threads and loops. Sloppy stitching to point I question the validity of other reviewers extolling the luxuriousness of these towels.Update: Seller opted to send replacement towels instead of issuing a "partial refund". The replacement towels were also garbage. This is my last off-brand and/ or bedding purchase from Amazon. 1Seem plush but....shrink and leave lots of lint I purchased 2 sets of gray towels. They are packaged beautifully and seem quite plush. The color is exactly as pictured.After washing the towels I m unsure of how well they will wear because of the amount of lint left in the washer and dryer. I posted a picture of the lint from the dryer, it is from 2 sets of towels.The towels fluffed up nicely and have a nice soft feel after drying.What concerns me is the amount of lint and the shrinkage.Below is the comparison of before and after washing.The towels measure:- Bath Towel: 27 by 54 inchesAfter washing 24 x 50- Hand Towels: 16 by 28 inchesAfter washing 14 x 25- Washcloths: 13 by 13 inchesAfter washing 11x 12I ll update this post after the towels are laundered several times. 3Great quality and super absorbant I bought 3 sets of these towels in the sage green and we love them. They washed well and shed the usual amount if lint. No more lint since then. They are a good weight, thick enough, and very absorbent. Quite impressed with the quality for the money. Will probably buy another set and wouldn't hesitate to gift these.Update 5/22/2018: Still impressed by these towels. They still feel and look fantastic. The color has not faded. They laundry up fluffy and don't shed. They are super soft. I have truly enjoyed these towels. 5Perfect if you like to be covered in towel lint and never feel clean again. Do YOU enjoy lint? Want to pickup black bits all over your floor forever?Do I have the towels for you!I bought these in MAY in black because I was sick of getting my hair dye all over my white towels. I washed and dried them three times upon purchase because of the shedding.It is now SEPTEMBER tomorrow and although I've washed these weekly, I still cannot dry myself without getting black lint all over my body. I have never even heard of towels doing this. I now have a microfiber towel I use after these towels to scrape the lint off of my body.If you're thinking of returning these due to the shedding, DO IT. Don't wait and think it gets better. 1
