    Not Worth The MoneyFor $6.00 bucks I wasn't expecting great quality. My main complaint is the handle has sharp edges. Not knife sharp but very uncomfortable when you grip it. They could have made it thicker or put a rubber edge on it. The cheap plastic ice scoop that came with the ice maker does a better job. Keep looking, not recommended. 15 oz maybeI purchased this item thinking it was a 6 oz scoop and I ordered another scoop that I thought was of similar quality that was a 4 oz scoop(http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000H0U8A0/ref=oh_details_o01_s02_i01). When I received both scoops I was surprised to see that they were exactly the same scoop, and I would not say either scoop was 6 or 4 oz, I think 5 oz is a better description.The build quality is fine for the price. The scoop and handle are stamped metal and tack welded together, they seem sturdy enough. I have no use experience, I sent them back since they were the wrong sizes for my needs. 3Good Enough.These are not especially special, but are special enough for the price. I suppose paying more would get more, like a more solid and smoother handgrip. Probably the pricier kinds feel less flimsy. But these are quite good enough for me to dip a daily portion out of the dry cat food bag. I bet they would work as well as an indoor gardening trowel for small pots. They are not going to break if you step on them, and aluminum will not rust. All things considered, I am pleased with my purchase. 5not user friendlyThe problem with this scoop is that it has sharp edges. Not sharp enough to cut you but it digs into your hand when you use it. 2Stamped Sheet MetalYes, they are scoops. Yes, they are stainless. And yes, they are stamped sheet metal with rather sharp edges. They'll do, but if you're expecting a solid feeling scoop as if made from cast aluminum, look elsewhere. 2A sharp handle!Handle is very sharp!!! Thin, sharp, curved metal Handle! Handle can hurt you when smashing, breaking up chunks of ice! Could be dangerous! I'm trying to figure out how to "soften" the handle so I can still use the scoop! Disappointed! 1rough edgesThe quality is not great. The edges were not smooth, rather that it felt unfinished, as though it missed being sanded down and rounded off! It's a cheaper quality than what it appears online. It would do the job but I returned it looking for a better quality item. I gave it four stars becase the handle does not form a full circle, just a half-circle, so is not really comfortable in your hand. But its fine for everyday use. 4Practical ScoopBut the downfall of purchasing online is that you do not see or hold it before you purchase it. I wanted a small ice scoop to use with an ice bucket at parties, this scoop is made from stamped metal, the handle is a flat piece of metal with a bend in it. Will work well for an occasional scoop of flour but not acceptable for a party ice scoop. 3
