THEY REALLY WORK!!!I had to buy these mattress cover because I was getting EATEN UP BY BEDBUGS EVERY SINGLE NIGHT!!! One of the apartments in my building was INFESTED and they migrated over into my unit. I received them on Wednesday, 6/6/18, and covered all the pillows on my bed and the mattress with the covers I bought and haven't had a single bite in two nights! THESE THINGS REALLY WORK!!! I recommend them very highly! 5and they were like giant welts (not the usual pattern of bed bugs)I started getting bitten, but I was getting bitten in pairs, and they were like giant welts (not the usual pattern of bed bugs). So, I honestly didn't even think I had bed bugs. I very carefully inspected my mattress, and I found nothing. I bought this mattress cover basically "just in case". I WAS WRONG. I bought this, and washed and dried my bedding (twice). I haven't been bitten since. Also, I can now see the bed bugs through the bed bug blocker 5Good mattress coverGood, recommended for bed bugs immediately after mattress is treated. You can spend $$$ form exterminators but if you purchase an inexpensive steamer, along with an eco friendly bed bug spray, allow mattress to dry completely then add Harns Diatomaceous powder to the mattress corners, zip completely, you mattress can be saved. The cover is also a very good mattress protector from spills. It helped to control and end our problem. 4although I have not had any issues and now I know where to go for a zippered cover which might be a good idea even if you do not have that problemPurchased the zippered mattress who was having problems with bed bugs. Some are only slightly softer, though after buying many $45 + and this one, they are essentially the same. If it is laboratory tested, that is what matters. The one I got for $45 had a stuck zipper and reviews of ripping as well. This is an amazing deal for a standard quality product! Also, getting this only will NOT stop bed bugs. Bed bugs live in the cracks of walls, in furniture, in the carpet. A mattress cover will protect your mattress where there is the largest concentration, but you will need to treat the walls and surrounding areas. Do NOT take cover off for a year as bed bugs can live 10 months without a blood meal. If you think you may have bed bugs, do not delay in treating all areas. You will most likely need a professional. This mattress cover will protect your mattress and will help while you find other treatment resources. 5ExcellentI don t know how people are ripping these and the zipper is breaking they must be super heavy handed and rough and impatient when putting it on, but I put this one on my daughters bed and it was a breeze! Great product so far! It is waterproof unless you are putting it on upside down, you have to make sure the shiny part is on top of the mattress. We don t have bed bugs so I can t review that part, I pretty much bought these because of the waterproof feature the bed bug feature is a added bonus for us seeing it will keep them away if someone in the future where to ever track them in my house.
