    Cute but worthlessCute but not practical nor functional. It is nearly weightless so you must hold it down to get the tape. Tape also does not cling to the teeth so you must peel it off the roll each time. Quite frustrating, worthless item in my opinion. 1Pretty but more decorative than functionalLooks great on daughter's new gold and white desk and room decor.I thought this would be cheap looking but it was better than I expected. It isn't super high quality but out on the desk it looks very nice with her other gold things. Just don't look too closely.It is lightweight so you need 2 hands to use it. It is not weighted enough to grab tape one handed. Also the sharp things that tear the tape are pointed a little too far down so you kinda have to pull the tape lower and under more than what you're used to on a real heavy duty quality weighted dispenser.This is purely a decorative dispenser but for a teen girl's room who wanted some gold bling, it is perfect. 4 stars based on looks and price. We won't be using it for gift wrapping! 4Bought The Entire Collection for my Wife's DeskWe bought the entire U Brands copper wire collection for my wife's desk in our home office. Great style, very trendy and it adds a nice contrast to everything that we have on the desk. It's a collection that's different from the mainstream desk accessories that you can find in most retail stores today. The wire itself isn't flimsy - it's very sturdy. The organizer can also be mounted on the wall I guess (there were no screws included, but the wall mounting holes are there). Great value and function all the way around! 5Poor quality control, wouldn't recommend for actual filesMy hanging file organizer arrived horribly bent, 0 quality control here from the manufacturer as this was not a packaging/handling issue. Hubby was, with great effort, able to bend it back to shape enough to mount this onto the wall, but it was so warped on the right side that the screw hole was nearly sideways from its intended flush position AND the wire on the 6" deep side was severely concave--so it was robbing me of actual internal storage space; had I wanted to use this for actual hanging files, it would have had to be returned. Total mess. Otherwise it looks quite attractive--pretty, just not that functional--and the copper overcoating is nicely done, if not a tad glinty orange. Per usual with these sort of home office items, the price cannot be justified vs quality. Don't trust the listed dimensions because if the chevron pattern wire is bent even a little, you'll lose those the precious centimeters required for accurate use of hanging files. 3Needs some alterationsThe dispenser looks great but leaves something to be desired in the functionality department. The tape has nowhere to rest after you break off and piece and just falls to the desk or against the roll.Most tape dispenders have at least a few millimeters of material behind the blade to help hood this tape. This has nothing at all behind the blade.Adding a simple acrylic block will fix the issue, though attaching it to this minimalist dispenser in an attractive way is far from easy.Additionally, the dispenser is very lightweight. You will often need two hands to pull tape from it to keep it from falling or moving across the desk.It's a lovely product but needs some severe functional adjustments to actually work.Edit: a piece of tape at the base of the blade is a perfect fix, though! 3Neat looking dispenserThis tape dispenser is really cool looking. I showed it off to everyone at work when it came in. It is a shiny copper color. The piece that holds the actual roll of tape is clear plastic. The clear plastic piece is small enough for the tape roll to fit on easily but not so small that it slides all over the place. It can be slid back and forth though. The serrated edge that cuts the tape works really well. The only issue I have with it is that sometimes it's just a little bit difficult to grab the piece of tape because the bar on the side gets in the way. The only time this happens is when the roll of tape is slid farther to one side than the other. My only real complaint with this tape dispenser is that the plastic piece that the roll goes on fits into the wire part of the dispenser so snugly that it was difficult to get out when replacing the roll of tape and even more difficult to put back in with the new roll. The wire seems to be slightly bend, refusing to allow the plastic piece to be put back in properly. This is why my tape roll is closer to one side than the other. You can see this in my second picture. Overall, this is a really neat looking tape dispenser and I definitely enjoy having it on my desk. A couple minor adjustments could make this thing a perfect choice. 4I was a little worried what the color might look like in person because it's described as "Copper" in the ...This exceeded my expectations. Goes perfectly with my new white office desk I got for grad school. I love it! 5PURE JUNKI bought this because well- it s super cute, stylish and the same old black wire boring desktop letter/file sorter. Well, the truth is, it s pure GARBAGE. It is such a piece of JUNK that even Amazon itself knows this, yet they will still allow you to buy it. Because it really is a nice addition to a desk. It s just useless. It s uneven, unbalanced and literally doesn t function properly to do the one thing it s designed to do. It tips over instantly after placing something in it. I returned it, I should say tried to return it. Once I went through the steps of return Amazon instatntly siad my refund was issued and they didn t want the crap piece back. Hahah. I wanted gold desk accessories that were stylish yet not gaudy, so my choices were somewhat limited. I searched letter trays all over the Internet and decided to order these.They arrived very quickly and were not flimsy as I expected. They DON T look cheap or cheesy. The color is decent; this is not a brass color or a satin gold. This desk tray is a gold metallic color, probably most similar to gold jewelry.There s not a lot to be said here because the pictures are the best description. I ll include a few and let you be the judge.*please note* I purchased 2 trays and both are stacked in the photograph. 5StackableVery durable. Color is perfect. I bought two trays and the legs on the bottom of the snap into the top of the tray when you stack them. There's no slot or anything, just place it on top how you want it and push the legs into the top of the other tray until it's snug. 5
