This one's a winner!These mattress pads are on all of our beds, and I started using this style back when the kids were babies and hung out on our bed in diapers and with sippy cups and random spit-up moments. They're teenagers now, and it protects the mattress from random beverage spills and no telling what else. I buy a mattress because I like the mattress, and this pad is thin and doesn't change the feel of it, and it doesn't make us sleep hot. A bonus is that the terry cloth cover keeps the sheets in place and that's probably my favorite thing about it. It's kind of a pain to wash because you have to rearrange it and spin it about 4 times to get the water out before putting it in the dryer, but that's pretty par for the course with a waterproof mattress pad. The original one on my bed wore out a after about 10 years, but I think that's pretty good and. I was happy to buy another and hope it holds up as long. 5A Great Liner from personal experience! Highly Recommend!I purchased my first one several years ago. Our young grandchildren would spend the night with us often and were not always successful when making it thru the night without wetting the bed. This liner worked great and is not noisy like the old plastic covers nor does it make you sweat.We still continue to use it even though the kids don't really need them anymore.I purchased for a friend whose mother is in her final months of life and is struggling to make it to the bathroom many times a night. Just a peace of mind for her to know she won't soil the mattress. 5Like it's not even thereExcellent product. Fits my 12-inch deep mattress with room to spare. After you put it on, you may as well forget it's there: no crinkling noises, no smell, no added heat. I actually tested its waterproof ability before putting it on by pouring a cup of water on the terry side; no water sipped through the other side. In summary, this product does exactly what it is supposed to, and does it quietly. 5Not crinkly! Washes up well!Both my husband and I have severe allergies. My worst allergy by far is dust/dust mite. We were in the market to replace our older mattress protector because it developed a few tears. We chose the Sky Bedding mattress protector based on the content of the reviews ans are very pleased. This mattress protector is nice, smooth, and seems very durable. Although our old one was not vinyl, it actually creaked when we would lay down. I think the fibers were coming apart. This one is made different, where our old one was rather bulky, this one is smooth. I washed it before putting it on our mattress and was pleased with how it washed up. I no longer wake up with puffy eyes and a headache since I put this mattress cover on. This mattress protector seems like it will last many years. If you are allergic to dust, I highly recommend this mattress protector. 5Great waterproof mattress protectorsThese waterproof mattress covers work very well. We ordered 2 twin xls for our adjustable beds because our dog sometimes wets the bed. After multiple accidents to both beds, both mattresses are pristine due to these covers. No leakage through the top. You do have to make sure the whole top area is covered by the waterproof material (the fabric that covers the side of the mattress is not waterproof), but it works. We've had these for over a year and have washed them multiple times and they are not flaking or coming apart at all. Still in great shape. They do make you sleep a bit warmer than a cotton mattress pad, but that comes with any waterproof cover. You could always put a cotton pad over this one if the warmth bothers you. Highly recommend these and would buy again if needed in the future. Well worth the money. 5Stop looking, this is your forever protectorI've tried many other mattress protectors before sky. They've either sounded like plastic when I move, made me sweat, not fit around my mattress well, torn, washed poorly. .. the one from sky I have on 2 other beds also and the things I like most about the product that keeps my loyalty to the brand, is the all around elastic. It doesn't come off my mattresses even when my 4 year old wrestles and jumps on it. It fits small and large mattresses, mine is 20". It does not feel like you have a protector under your sheets at all nor does it make me sweat. We sleep very comfortably. It washes very well! I wash warm dry low. Of the 3 i have, none have frayed or melted in the dryer or torn from use. It's also great as a barrier to keep the mattress dry from spills and potty accidents. We have been through a lot of life stages with these protectors and have not had to replace the sky ones since we purchased them. Can't say that for a few that were more expensive than these. For the price and durability, it's a steal! 5Pleasantly surprised!I was very skeptical when I first got this in. The product is VERY loud when moved/rubbed, and the terry cloth top isn't exactly soft. The sides are super stretchy and didn't seem like the product would stay put. The product stood up to washing and drying on low heat. There was no bad odor to the product when I opened it.I just now received my mattress, and I was very surprised when I put it on that it fit very well. I slept on it, and the protector didn't move at all, nor did it hinder the fitted sheet in staying on the bed. I also didn't notice any loud sounds when I moved like I was expecting. So far the "protector" part hasn't been tested, but it seems like it will definitely hold up. Overall very happy with the purchase.EDIT 5/27/16:The unit was finally tested on the "protection" factor after a pet accident. I was very pleased to find that my mattress was 100% dry and clean underneath the protector! I have increased my rating from 4 to 5 stars. 5This mattress pad is much better than the puffy ones I have always had beforeI bought a new mattress, so I decided I should buy a new pad. This mattress pad is much better than the puffy ones I have always had before. So much easier to wash - none of the "unbalanced load" issues with it. It goes on easily (queen bed) and is not sweaty to sleep on. We have two dogs who are not allowed on the bed (in theory), so I do want to protect the new mattress, and this should take care of the grubby paw issue. I like it and would recommend it. 5Fits my 15" deep pillow-top mattress and does seem to be cooler.This mattress protector fit my pillow-top mattress really well. I have a 15" deep mattress, but I found that even mattress covers that were supposed to fit 18" mattresses still weren't deep enough to fit mine and stay in place. This one stays in place. I do notice that it is cooler than my other mattress protector, but it doesn't have the heavy plastic backing that the other one did either. That may mean it doesn't protect from spills as the other one, but I can't tell because I haven't had any spills yet while using this new protector. My mattress is out of warranty, as well, but it's never had any spills get through to it and looks brand new. I got this protector to keep it that way. 5So worth it and it works! Best part no noise and not hotI used to own protective covers in the past for my beds but eventually got rid of them. Could not stand how hot they got and all the noise they made. Had gotten them at the mattress store and how i regret it. As for this cover they make zero noise and are not hot at all. The best part is they work!!! Reason I got this was my son's diapers just not holding all the pee even the night diapers. Already had 6 accidents and the mattress is completely dry! Will be buying this for all my beds in the future. 5
