Customer Reviews

Very UsefulI bought these for the huge tin of loose Ahmad tea that I usually use with a filter to make a whole kettle of tea. They are perfect for when my husband just wants a cup of tea.A regular size spoon is small enough to slide the tea into the bag. My only complaint is that there's no way to seal the bag once the tea is in it and this has caused the tea to occasionally come out of the bag after I've poured the hot water in and I'm stirring. It helps to tuck the flap inside the bag, but I've still had the problem of the tea coming out into the cup.Overall, this is a great product, but could definitely be improved with a way to seal it somehow! 4Too big and thick for my tea (50% tea flavor loss)Ok so I actually can't believe that I'm complain about anything being too big because I'm a huge fan of anything big. But the fact that these are also extra thick is bad because you don't get enough flavor and if you are a tea lover like me, you want all of the flavor!!! The density of these bags is superb (no complaints) but I feel like the material could have been thinner. I only use 1 teaspoon of tea so it ended up to bee too giant but if it worked like I wanted, I could maybe get past it. But the material being both dense and thick, you will not get enough flavor. I ended up squeezing it multiple times to get any flavor out and bought a pot from Teavana which I now use with joy and satisfaction 4I was about to give up on tea until I found these gems.Recently, we bought a tea with leaves and herbs so fine, they simply worked their way right through our infuser and into the drink. So we went to Walmart to find a 'better' one with a finer screen. We didn't find one and went to Target. Target only sold a "K-Cup Infuser", which was basically a K-Cup shaped coffee cup with a very fine screen so you could refill it with your own coffee. It was $5, so we tried it. It didn't work well at all.So, then in a tea deprived frustration, I found the T-Sac Tea Filter Bags and I've been using them ever since. Never again do I have to worry about those loose tea leaves floating around in my drink - that's gross. The fact that there aren't companies that make infusers with a finer screen is a little surprising to me. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had this problem... 5Not Enough Room for Tea to ExpandI've been using drawstring tea bags for ages and got sick of pulling out the strings so I could put them in my worm bin after use so I tried this string free version and was rather disappointed. The bags are securely sealed along the sides and I haven't had any that have leaked. I put a teaspoon of loose leaf tea in and fold the top over and then give it a little twist to keep it sealed before putting it in my cup and letting the very top rest over the edge. The issues begin with that when this overhang gets wet (as water is sucked up into it) it drips. A lot. And water gets everywhere. The other issue is that there really isn't enough room for the tea to expand well so it doesn't really get all the flavor out. It's all sort of trapped at the bottom of the bag and can't expand. I thought I had a bad batch of tea until I eventually realized what the problem was. I will definitely be returning to my drawstring filter bags instead.Overall, these don't really make great tea and I cannot recommend them. 3Good size and easy to use tea bags for loose teaI bought these tea filter bags because I could no longer find the brand I was using previously (don't remember the name) in my natural grocery store. I wanted something in a similar size, and got the number 1 size based on the reviews. I have to say that this size is just right for a good size cup of tea. I buy loose tea, which I transfer to these bags (the opening is big enough to do this easily, but I usually spill a little bit anyway), and then steep in a cup of hot water. I fill only the very bottom of the bag, and have used it two ways. One--leaving the top unfolded, as the hot water essentially seals the opening during brewing, and the bag ends up staying against the side of the cup while the tea gets ready. Second--folding the top flap into the opening and submerging the entire teabag in the hot water: I have actually found that tea does not escape this way, no matter how small the tea particles--there's something about the material of the tea bags that keeps the tiny pieces inside. The filter bags are pretty sturdy, too: I have left the tea bag in my cup overnight, and filled it with water the following morning, and the tea bag integrity was not compromised during the extended brew. The only thing that would be just great if it was added to these filter bags would be a string of some kind in order to pull the bag out of the water easily, but even without that I'm still very happy with this product. 5Longtime LOVER of these!I've been using these for years, I don't recall which store I originally found them in, but happy to find here! I use loose tea almost exclusively these days, except for the hubby's teas lol.**Tip for Tisanes!** I have a Ginger Turmeric that has some of the craziest, lightweight pieces! And they would FLOAT OUT sometimes. Well, there's no suggestion on the box about FOLDING over the top flap. I use a wide cup when I do these, and I actually hold the teabag in place while I pour the water NEXT to it, and then lower it to the bottom of the fold you made and the petals, peels, etc will all stay in place! Bon chance! I'm also available for lots of goofy related info, if there are questions. I travel and while no expert, I would call myself a qualified appreciator! 5Great product--but CHECK THE SIZELOOK CAREFULLY AT SIZE! I accidentally ordered size 1 because the picture shows yellow edging on the box, and I knew that's the color for size 2. This is a size 1, which arrived in a red box. Product works great (I recommend a Tea Click to close it and attach to teapot for steeping)--just be sure you're getting the size you intend regardless of the box color in the photo. 4great product These tea bags are very practical, I have a tea infuser and the loose leaves always come out from the hollows in the strainer and I do not like much. T-sac filter bags don't allow any particulate of loose leave to get out from it, resulting in a cleaner tea. This little bags are size suitable for one or two cups of tea, each bag holds up to 2 teaspoons of loose leaves. The bags are made of hemp, so they are 100% natural, not synthetic or bleached material or ingredients, are chlorine free and biodegradable, the package includes 100 bags so it's a good price for such a good quality product. I recommend it. 5My favorite tea is perfect in these bags.I was looking for a tea bag so I could take my Journey Brewing tea on the go. I was leery of these because of they way they don't appear to seal at the top. At home, I tried them out with my gourmet teas and did the sealing (with my flat iron) and tried it without the sealing. They both worked great. When I didn't seal them, I just pressed them at the side of my mug once they were wet and the tea fluffed right up and it was self sealed. When I take my tea on the go (I like my own tea when I dine out} I have some tea already to go in my purse that I sealed up in bags so it doesn't shake out and it works perfectly. I've even requested some hot water and large cup of ice in a drive through and seeped in these bags for my own iced tea. I guess I'm a real connoisseur of tea and prefer my loose leaf gourmet tea. 5Great!They work great! You place the tea in and fold it over, there isn't a seal to keep it closed but I just placed the lip of the bag over the edge and leaned my spoon against it and it stayed in place. My fiance just folded his over and placed it in the water. I was using infusers but I didn't care for the copious amount of tea leaves floating/on the bottom of the cup, these may leave a sparse few but nothing that bothered me. Only downside is they are not reusable as far as I know. Really are a nice thing to have around for my loose tea!! Please click helpful if my review has helped you : ) 5
