A WinnerI use a lot of paper towels in my workshop. When I saw that this item was so unobtrusive I decided that it would do well if mounted above my work bench. There are two screws furnished with the towel holder. I drilled very small pilot holes and mounted the towel holder using the screws that were provided. Those hold the towel holder firmly in place. A roll of paper towels slips easily into the holder and no more wondering "now where did I set that roll of paper towels down". If that is not reason enough to buy this item how about that it is made in the good old USA? 5Strong and sturdyMy old flimsy under cabinet paper towel holder recently broke and I ordered this to replace it. This is made of very thick and sturdy plastic so I don't imagine this ever breaking from normal use. The screws included with it were a bit too long to screw in under the cabinet as they would have stuck out into the cabinet itself, so I carefully removed my old broken holder and reused the old screws which worked fine. If you are looking to mount it into drywall I would recommend getting a good dry wall anchor such as "EZ-Anchors" (they come with their own screws) which I have used for many years and they seem to work really well for everything and I have never had to replace them no matter how much weight, pulling and abuse the secured objects take. 5Excellent product for the moneyPurchased this because the ones I would purchase at my local grocery chain (HEB, chefmate brand) would break after a week or two. Unbelievable! I paid like $4 for each holder and it would break, so I bought another one, and another one. Eventually thought I'm going to amazon.com to buy one. this paper towel holder is very well built for about $6. It's strong and I swipe paper towels off it daily several times a day. It is holding up excellent for several months now. And it holds a fat or jumbo roll of towels too. I'm sure it will last for years. To think I spent $20 something dollars on cheap ones at HEB makes me mad, but I love this one. I will buy another one just have it on reserve. :) 5Works fine. Does not restrict rotation like others sayThis paper towel mount is perfectly fine. It is easy to mount a new roll and the plastic seems pretty solid. The only complaint I have is with other reviewers' descriptions, I guess, since they led me to believe this restricts the rotation of the paper towel roll a bit to make it easier to pull off a sheet with one hand. It doesn't feel like mine restricts movement at all, really, though I can pull one sheet off with one hand if I am quick and do it from the right angle. So, good enough, anyway. 4Just what I wanted and neededMy concern was...how sturdy this would be.I am not super gentle when I am ripping a paper towel. I didn't want something I would have to CAREFULLY pull on and pray it didn't break off. This is as sturdy and strong as I could hope a plastic towel holder would be.I liked you can attach it different ways, vertically, under a cabinet, onto a cabinet. Two screws hold it very securely. .I had a metal one in the past and I like this one better. Easier to change the roll, blends in well with d cor, don't really notice it on my white door (I have it attached to an outside door of one of my kitchen cupboards because I have a kitchen from the late 1800's and space isn't what it would be a more modern kitchen). 5Spectrum 40200, Wall Mount Paper Towel Holder, WhiteDoes exactly what it is supposed to do without drawing too much attention to itself.I'm glad I bought itUPDATE: Not so glad, now - This towel holder lost its firm grip on a paper towel roll after only a month or so of use.Now when tearing off a towel the entire roll either comes down with it or is knocked askew - Really no better than my old, cheap rubbermaid plastic holder that did the same annoying thing and was why I sought a replacement - Unfortunately, the Spectrum 40200 turned out to be another mediocre, marginally useful product - 3Good QualityI was skeptic of how well it would be able to stick to the wall with command hooks. I can't hang things with nails my apartment so I hung this up with command strips and even with a full double roll paper towel, it hold well. Which is probably more of a testament to command hooks, but I haven't had any problems with this holder and would recommend if anyone needs something that can't be nailed to the wall. 5and this did not disappoint. Great product and great price! 5Saves counter space.I recently remodelled my kitchen. We do not have a lot of counter space so I wanted to mount my paper towels under a cabinet. This wall mount worked perfectly. It's plastic, but strong. It firmly holds the paper towel roll so the whole thing doesn't unroll when you try to rip off a sheet, but still remains easy to unroll more than one sheet. It came with mounting screws that will work fine on a wall, but I had to use shorter ones so they did not go through my cabinet.Pros:* Firmly holds paper towel rolls.* Enough space for my "Jumbo Rolls".* Comes with mounting hardware.* Easy to install.Cons:* None. 5Love the look of this paper towel holderI needed to replace an old rubbermaid paper towel holder that wasn't holding the roll securely any more. Both the old and the new holders were mounted vertically on the side of a cabinet near the sink for convenience. The new Spectrum holder looks sleek and attractive without drawing attention to itself. Be aware, though, that the screws included are long and for mounting on a cabinet, we had to switch them out for shorter screws so the ends wouldn't got completely through the cabinet wall. The spacing of the screws is also quite a bit closer than most towel holders, so it required putting new holes in the cabinet. However, the holder itself covered the old holes. I find that it holds the towel roll securely unless I grab the towels and jerk too quickly. Overall, I am very satisfied with this holder and the fact that it can be mounted vertically is a real plus for me. 4
