Amazing mattress protector for the price - a real steal! Would buy again!This is an amazing mattress protector for the price. My pug actually PEED and I mean a niagara falls PEE all over my bed and it didn't get past the mattress protector! I was absolutely thrilled, (despite having to of course wash all my linens...). What I also like about this mattress protector is the texture and sound of it underneath your sheets isn't uncomfortable and/or annoying. It's very easy to wash - I just pop it in the washer with my sheets and then pop it in the dryer on medium heat as to not dry it out too much. Overall a real steal for what you're getting. 5GREAT ProtectionThese work great! I ordered a twin and queen sized cover for two new memory-foam mattresses we bought - not only to protect from a potential accident by our 4-year-old, but to also keep sweat out of the foam (which is a big deal since odors are hard to remove from memory foam). Within the week, I had to wash these at least twice on both beds - spilled milk and leaking overnight pullups. NOT ONE DROP made it to the mattresses! In the month or so I've had them, I've washed them each at least a half-dozen times. I recommend washing them ONLY with your sheets and pillowcases, and hanging over a doorframe or on a clothesline to dry. However, I've successfully tossed them into a "touch up" cycle on low heat in my dryer when they weren't completely dry by bedtime and there was no damage or reduction in their being waterproof. Also, these easily fit at least 14" thick mattresses, with room. If you have concerns about the cover being too loose, sheet straps work like a dream - but be sure to get the ones that look like a silk stocking garter (all plastic) and not the ones with the metal "claws" on the ends. Highly recommend these covers! 5Excellent product!!!This is my second purchase of this product. The first one I bought was for my own bed and this one was for kids bed. It has seen me through all kinds of messes from kids getting sick to their accidents at night while potty training. It so easy to wash in the machine. DO NOT put it in the dryer or it will get ruined. If you have little ones this is an excellent buy. I've even recommended it to several friends. Both mattresses are pillow top and this cover fit very well. 5If I could i'd put this on all my furnitureI have never been a fan of mattress pads because they are noisy and hot. After some research, I came across this mattress pad. There are a lot of reviews of this mattress pad, mostly good, but some not good. If you are looking for a mattress pad that is 100% waterproof (ie... a lot of liquid, or liquid frequently), this is NOT the mattress pad for you. This mattress pad is more water resistant, meaning if you spill something on the bed (or have children), and clean it up quickly, it will not penetrate the mattress pad, but if not cleaned up, some liquid will eventually seep through the mattress pad.Now, having said all of that, here is the reason why I purchased the mattress pad. I am a hot sleeper, so having a traditional mattress pad was out of the question. They would radiate the heat from my body, and I sweat like i'm running a marathon. The other reason was the noise, the crinkle of the traditional mattress pad drives me crazy. This pad has none of those. The vast majority of the reviews supported this, so I bought it.The pad has multiple layers of a tight, screened fabric and the sides also have a screened fabric. Overall, I am very pleased with this mattress pad and it should protect my memory foam mattress topper for many years. 5Waterproof TestedWe just purchased a Purple Mattress and wanted a breathable mattress cover that would protect it if our son climbed into our bed at night and had an accident. I like the cover. It it not loud, and our son already had an accident in in THE FIRST NIGHT. We had absolutely no wetness on our mattress. Well worth it. 5Had to have another one!Different packaging, same great product!Life would be a lot harder if it weren't for this waterproof mattress protector. I have small dogs who like to lounge on the bed when I'm lounging ... sometimes they eat things they shouldn't out in the yard and then 're-gift' them to me on my bed (of course it's always right before we go to bed for the night) ... needless to say, it's been a life saver for my super squishy soft mattress pad, and ridiculously expensive memory foam mattress underneath. I originally got this mattress protector as a "gift" when I purchased my bed, and have been looking to get another so I don't have to sleep on the couch when the freshly soiled one is in the washing machine. 5Just what I wanted.Had to replace the mattress protector we purchased with our Tempurpedic about 9 years ago. Was expecting to have to pay AT LEAST the $100 we originally paid at the mattress store. So happy to have found this high quality replacement at such a substantial discount. It is identical to, perhaps better than, the original. In fact, pretty sure it's better. I prewashed it as instructed and WOW, it washed AND dried (lowest setting plus 4 large already dry towels) perfectly. Time will tell but I'm really pleased and impressed. 5I was so glad that I almost criedI wish I could give this mattress protector more stars! We have had it for several months. I bought it to protect my memory foam mattress. Not only does it fit my bed perfectly IT IS WATERPROOF!!! I have a cat in my home that will pee on my bed if she is mad at me. She did this just the other day and this protector did it's job! Not a single drop got onto my mattress. I was so glad that I almost cried. I love the cat but she was going to have to find a new home if I couldn't do something to protect my new bed and this did the trick. I seriously could not be more happy to have this and I will definitely purchase more in the future! 5Perfect Mattress Cover!I am so happy that I came across this mattress cover! I was searching for one that would not change the feel of my mattress which is latex. All previous covers I have purchased, I have spent a ton of money on only to have them make me feel hot and alter the way my mattress feels. You cannot go wrong with this cover! The only thing I will note is that if you do not have a "High Profile" mattress you will find that you have a lot of extra material on the sides (which is not a bad thing, just be prepared to tuck it in). 5Working so far, will update if it fails any future liquid contact event. Pay attention to the washing instructionsSo far so good. We just got this put onto our brand new split-cal-king adjustable bed a few weeks ago. Beware that if you want to do your best to ensure that the waterproofing remains intact after washing, you may find you need to buy separate laundry detergent. Even though we use the All Free and Clear, it still wasn't free and clear enough, because it still contains "a whitening agent", which the washing instructions explicitly said not to use. So, my wife had to make a special trip to the store to get a different detergent so we could ensure we wouldn't damage the waterproof lining.If we end up spilling something and finding that it penetrates the cover, I'll come back and update my review. 5
