    Really nice. Really, really nice.I've been ottoman shopping for weeks. This was the perfect combination of functionality (I live in a condo and needed extra storage space) and style and price. I love the distressed leather. And this likely would have been three times the cost if I would have gone to a local furniture store.This had more storage space than I expected too.I also love the amount of space on the top of this ottoman (and that it is nice and flat for laying a tray down for meals). As you can see from the photos, I am comfortably only using a third of the foot rest space (I am 5'11").This is way sturdier than I assumed it would be for the price too. Before it arrived I assumed I would have to have a "no sitting on top of the ottoman" rule but this will easily support me sitting on it (175 lbs.).Very nice piece of furniture. 5Like it A LotI'd been looking for a large ottoman for quite some time, visiting a lot of other websites and many department stores. This one stood out because it was so cheap (honestly) and it's the minimum length we needed.Pros - Just need to screw the legs in - comes in one box, already installed (others said they needed to install the hinges). Oddly this came the next day (wow!). The hinge is smooth opening and shutting. Lots of space inside for storage. The color is a rich brown. It's soft to the touch and seems to be well made. I may order another for our bedroom as it's the same color as our leather bed.Cons - when you put your feet on it the material gives/sags, hopefully it doesn't stay that way after several weeks of use. If there was a 4 1/2 star option I would give it 4 1/2 stars. 5Our Ottoman is a Year and Half Old and Still Looks Like NewWe bought this Ottoman in March of 2017 and to this day, it is a functional and viable part of our home. We have a small home made of my husband and me and we indulged in two black leather reclining chairs that were so comfy but it was lacking foot rest. We wanted to find an affordable ottoman with storage maximize our space and hopefully match up with our leather chairs even if man made material. We picked this one after researching. It came in basically one piece, legs and accessories needed added but it was functional in no time. It is one long piece with a large deep storage compartment. We keep blankets and containers and pillows in ours with room to spare. The top opens and closes easily and continues ro do so. My favorite part of the ottoman is how it has held up. We have moved from one home to another and have spent many hours in our chairs with our feet up. We have spilled drinks on it, food disasters and lived our lives around it. It is still just as black and shiny with no tears or flaws in the fabric. There are no scratches or scuffs and it is as solid as the day we got it. It is faux leather but matches to our black leather chairs well enough unless a person loos those kind of things. We love this Ottoman and seeing it on prime deals days had us reminiscing about buying it and I told my husband that i had to tell anyone thinking of buying it what a great little addition this makes for a hundred dollars. Durable, cleans easily and stylish and functional. It's what an ottoman should be 5Great product! Not as large as you would think though.We thought this was going to be a bit bigger but other then that this is a great product. Our 2 year old jumps up and down on it, my cat has retracted his claws into it, we have spilled food on it, and all this and it hasn't even been a month of ownership yet. Its still in new condition. No damage, smells new, etc.Definitely worth the money, since its not that expensive to begin with. Shipping was lovely, it came a in a long box ready to use. 5as much as we like the look of itUnfortunately, as much as we like the look of it, it started to fall apart within weeks. The ottoman seems to be made out of some sort of hard cardboard, and one of the sides, by the hinges, has bowed. The hinge started to unscrew itself due to the pressure of the bowing.In short, we feel we wasted $150. Not a huge deal to me, but I could see that being a big problem for others. (My first thought was "How am I supposed to return this thing?") Kept it because it is a nice box and will still work with what we have. One of the legs screwed in unevenly- even after several careful attempts. Putting it on carpeting, so no big deal. I bought this as a toy box for my toddler, and I really like the child-safe hinge. The hinges push back to lock the lid open, but it stays open in any position until pushed closed. After seeing several, I went with the Simpli Home Avalon Faux Leather. The other choices were a bit deep or were made of wood. I chose this for it's narrow depth, softness and a great space for storing shoes. I topped with a couple of throw pillows and it serves as a bench to sit while taking shoes on and off. I'm very happy with my purchase! Highly recommend. 5Definitely made the right choiceI don't know if I got this on a ridiculous sale or something it was up with the price, but I was almost hesitant to buy it because how low the price was. I took a chance and I am so glad I did because this is a beautiful bench. Feet were easy to assemble, I have no problems with the hinges closing and opening or lining up and sitting straight. Everything is as you would expect it to be.I have a king size bed and this was one of the larger sizes that I was able to find to try and accommodate the width of a bed. It's not all the way across but it's definitely better than other than I've seen especially for the price range.One of my biggest things that I love about it is the smooth top. I know it's not real leather and I'm okay with that but I have pets and their fur is constantly everywhere. the material the benches made of it literally just wipes right off. No having to worry about deshedding and lint rolling and vacuuming so you keep it looking nice because it has a smooth top, made out of a vinyl material that looks like black leather. I would totally buy this again if I needed 5
