    I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to replace or install a ...I ended up using the 3/4" compression to 3/4" FPT version of this, but it is the same product. I used it to install a UV water treatment system at my home. I did make sure I had a pipe nipple on the side where the UV light comes out before this flex line because I read these flex lines are rubber lined (and the UV light can damage rubber). This flex line made the installation so much easier. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to replace or install a water heater or any other water components such as a whole house filter or UV treatment system. 5Five StarsGreat quality and easy to install. Works perfectly. 5SharkBiteQuality and never had any SharkBite product leak... they work the first time and everytime. 5Use SharkBiteProduct description on the web site is a little difficult to determine the exact product but it turned out to be exactly what i needed.FYI. The sharkbite end is the 1/2" valve and the other end has the 3/4" female threads 5I d buy again, expensive but worth it!Expensive, but worth it!They make a difficult job easy! 5Excellent connector, BUT....Be aware these can be bent too far, and will kink. I ended up using the corrugated stainless connectors, SS3068FLEX18BV, which worked much better for me. 5Excellent quality.I ve used SharkBites before and have never had a problem. Saved a LOT of $ by replacing water heater myself. 5Easy to install and works wellI used these for our tankless water heater in a weekend cabin. The connection is super simple and went on in seconds. It's a SharkBite. I've been using these fittings for years and I've never had one leak. They are easy to install and remove. I lubricate the inside O ring if I remove a SharkBite fitting and then reinstall it; common sense, that's all. I'll sweat my copper fittings if they're permanent but I use these for applications in tight fitting spaces or if I feel that I will need to remove a fitting in the future, such as if I need to remove/replace one of my three inline whole house water filter canisters. I highly recommend SharkBite products. 5
