    Not durableI liked the price. But I don t like how easily they discolor. Probably won t buy again 3use for other than sinkI didn't buy this for use in my sink, but instead for use in a canine enrichment activity. I made a "snuffle mat" using this item as well a many (hundreds) of strips of fleece tied to it. Basically hide some treats in it and the dog has to snuffle his way though it to find the treats. Gives them some mental activity. Works for ambitious cats, too. Size works out well for making a manageable sized mat- after it is all done, the overall dimension can be pretty large, yet is small enough to fit in clothes washer if need be. Same idea would make a little sleeping mat or creative little rug. 5Terrible MatsNot worth your money. The mats stain with what every you pour into your sink and nothing gets them clean. 1Good value, protect my stainless steel sink bottomsHad a set for years, and reordered. When my set arrived I found that they were slightly smaller than my previous set.My wife likes these better, saying that the old set were too large.I noticed last time that if not pans are placed into the sink that over time the plastic yellows and becomes much harder, and less pliable. I am trying to avoid placing hot items in the sink now.I think I read before buying that some reviews said mold would grow in theirs.I have had a set for several years and have Never seen any hint of mold growing on my mats. Of course I wash them at least once a day after I clean dishes.IWould recommend 5Difficult with food debrisThe mat sits too low against the sink so food debtis gets trapped and won't enter drain without lifting mat entirely. When positioned on sink, the holes don't allow larger pieces of food debris to enter drain/garbage disposal.Mats are dishwasher safe for cleaning. 2like inter-tubes when I was a kidUpon first use they do have a strong odor, like inter-tubes when I was a kid. Scrubbed with dish soap and odor remains. May try the dishwasher. I was a little disappointed that they stained really quickly and are a little orange. I've soaked them in bleach and it came off a little but they are still discolored. They work well, though. 4DEHP and DBP (phthalates)I purchased this to make a Snuffle Matt for my dog, after receiving it and reading the WARNING that is is not free of Phthalates, therefore I had second thoughts about using it to hide dog kibble in. Unfortunately I didn't open the product right away and didn't notice it until after 30 days. I will be throwing this away, and hopefully will be able to find a matt that indicates that is is free of Phthalates, or listed as food grade. This warning should be listed on the product details.
