    Perfect for 7 months We purchased this for one very specific reason. That was to not have to reach over when activating the gates on our building's garage doors. It was perfect. We were admired near and far for not having reach way over or get out of the car. But then it cracked at the base. We don't use it very harshly, but used it 4 times per day each day. We tried to crazy glue it. We tried to tape it but nothing worked for long. Ultimately, we purchased a new one today - because even though we thought it should last far longer, we still liked it when it worked. 3Roaches This clip is telescopic which is hilarious to me because the use of this item is not for fixing something or for holding screws. It totally works to keep hot, rolled up items from burning or searing your fingers. Clip is super tight fitting. 4Bicycle safety! These are awesome! I bought it to put on my bike rack, extended with a bright kerchief so cars don t run me down when I m cycling. When I arrive at my destination I simply collapse it to its original size and put it in my bike bag! 5I Love This Thing! Sturdy, seems well made which is important to me. It's easy to take with you and my buddies thought it was awesome because it made passing the doobies so much easier. We can all continue to sit on our bums and have a good chuckle. Stocking stuffers here we come! 5Poor quality I ve been a heating tech for 30 years and use these tools daily. I ve used many different brands of these alligator clip(match extenders) and these are by far the worst match extenders I have ever used. They last a few days and the clip falls off. These might be good to light a candle or two but that is about it. 1Extended Range! Great roach clip and extension, really helps when you have company over! I did have an issue with the first one I ordered arriving broken but their customer service is great and quickly sent me a replacement. I am rating it 4 because it is on the flimsy side and seems easy to break based on the first one, but you definitely get your money's worth. 4Just that extra help I needed wished it had lasted I live in a gated community and you need to swipe a key card by a reader to get in. The entry pad reader is a good height but the idiot that built the exit pad made it much lower. We couldn't reach down to swipe the card from our 4 x 4 truck. We had to open the door every time to reach rain or shine. This fixed that problem and gave me the extra reach needed.Updated review: 10/6/1018 Had to deduct stars as the clip came loose from the telescoping pole because of poor design. Ordered two more will solder the clip on this time as glue didn't hold. 2This works perfect! I needed something to hold a access card when trying to exit the parking garage. Whoever designed the exit gate must have had gadget arms. I would have to get out of the car to swipe. This works perfect! 5alligator clip yes this little gadget met my expectations, 100%. delivered quickly. now I don't get my fingers burned when the joint gets low. my other gadget I've had for almost 25 yrs. go figure, it was time for a new one. this one is perfect for the extensions. thank you for a great product and service. 5Makes a great bracelet tool The alligator clip with the telescopic handle makes a perfect bracelet tool. I plan to decorate the handle and sell them at my jewelry show. By using this bracelet tool, you can stop chasing slippery bracelet rings around your wrist. The clip holds the fastening end of the bracelet while you close the clasp. It is a great help for arthritic fingers and those of us who do not have a partner to help with a bracelet clasp. 5
