    Description

    • Professional salon quality: Our basin is constructed of durable stain-resistant lightweight ABS composite with a rolled edge and supported by a heavy-duty stainless-steel pipe. Premium features providing the ultimate in strength and comfort to meet needs of different customers and easy to maintain for years.
    • Spacious: This basin has an extra-large capacity. Outer dimensions measure 19-1/2" front to back x 19-1/4" wide x 9" deep. Inner dimensions measure 18-1/2" front to back x 18-1/4" wide x 9" deep.
    • Tiltable: Sink tilts both forward and backwards and can be raised or lowered from 39" to 55" (measured from floor to top of basin when level). The neck rest dips to as low as 33" from the floor when tilted, so this unit can be easily adjusted to accommodate most reclining or standard chairs.
    • Durable: Heavy-duty pedestal with a 1-1/2" chrome metal riser and five composite legs form a 22" diameter base. Composite non-marring feet/bumpers are included on the bottom of the stand to protect floors from marks.
    • Portable or permanent: The sink can be permanently installed or easily transported. The perfect choice for beauty salons and barbershops, wheelchair bound clients, traveling stylists, and home users.     Does not drain and leaks badThe sink is very roomie, but if you put the drainage tube in the sink to drain, it doesn't drain. The sink just fills up with water. Also, the attachment from the bottom of the sink and the drainage tube leaks really bad and i have the clamp on super tight. I have to figure out a way for it to not leak on my floors.1Makes washing my daughter's hair easy!It's much bigger than I thought. It is the size of an actual salon sink. Very easy to put together. Make sure drain hose is below sink, otherwise it won't drain. I used it in the bathroom and let it drain in the tub. You have to put a towel around the person's neck because otherwise water will leak in the floor. Overall I'm happy with it.4Awesome!!!!! I Love ItAfter I closed my salon I purchased this portable adjustable shampoo bowl to shampoo a few clients at my home. It s deep enough and actually has lots of room to move around in without being confined to the sides and it also has slots to place a bottle of shampoo and conditioner. The portable shampoo bowl looks and works just like the standard shampoo bowl that I had in my salon. I have an adjustable all-purpose let back styling chair that I use along with it. I have a very spacious bathroom and this is where I do my clients hair. I place the portable shampoo bowl close to the bath tub and use my hand held shower sprayer to shampoo my clients heads. I also do relaxers, perms and colors and I have no problems rinsing out the product from the clients head. I also have no problems with the hose because I place it in my bath tub and place a couple of wet towels over it to keep the hose from moving and the water drains out perfectly.5greatthis sink works just as I need it to. it has multiple ways it can adjust. it takes a little while to get used to. the drain hose is kind of short easy fix. the neck is pretty narrow. my clients express slight discomfort in the neck area. I bought a cushion. however because the neck area is narrow and deep it prevents the nape from being properly shampooed. this is the same size if not slightly larger than a salon bowl. over all I love the product.4I tried the regular gray duct tape but the hold was not as good, the tape tends to have to be replaced ...Here are some must knows for this product to successfully use it.1.) You need some strong holding duct tape. This will be needed to placed on certain parts of the hose that you may see a little dripping from periodically. I use the strongest holding duct tape available I got it from Family Dollar. It has a black shiny outside, and gray inside sticky part for the tape. I tried the regular gray duct tape but the hold was not as good, the tape tends to have to be replaced more when its the regular duct tape.2.) Some people say they use mop buckets, however the only way to use this successfully without water flying everywhere is to use a trash can that's not to tall, and not too short. I need to tape the hose with 3-4 medium/long pieces of STRONG DUCT TAPE so the hose won't fall off. I got the trash can from Walmart.3.) I got some heavy duty gray foam floor mats from Home Depot to put on floor to protect kitchen floor from water stains. They look like puzzle pieces.This is the best!!!!!!!!! I'm still learning how to use this Product, but it makes doing hair so easy out of my home salon. THe KEY to using this shampoo station is to have some STRONG HOLDING TAPE to secure the hose on the trash bucket or whatever you desire. Make sure it's tall enough to hold enough water, but not taller than the top stem of your pole that connects to the bowl.I hope this help!!!!5Serves Functional Purpose for Someone in a WheelchairI bought this Saloniture Portable Shampoo Sink almost two months ago for my husband who's in a wheelchair, and it has so far worked well for us. The basin is deep enough to hold a fair amount of water, and it suitably tilts to fit with the tilt of my husband's wheelchair. Where the sink fits around my husband's neck and on top of his shoulders is not the most comfortable, even with a towel around his neck. Especially also when it's not easy for my husband to stay still. One other disappointing feature is the flimsiness of the drainage hose, but if attached with the use of some plumber's or waterproof duct tape, will help prevent it from leaking. Overall, this sink serves a very practical use for us!4This product worked to accomplish what we needed to get done.This item was ordered to help my sister, who is presently in a wheelchair, get her hair washed, permed and colored. It worked pretty well to get the job done. I like that it is made of quality material, has a deep basin, and that the height is adjustable so that my sister could sit in her wheelchair during its use. I did not like that the instructions for assembly were somewhat vague and that the clamp for securing the hose was difficult to adjust. The hose came off a couple of times during assembly, but stayed on during the use of the basin. Since the hose has to drain downward, we used the bucket to the wet vac which is large and has a hole through which the hose could be inserted, which helped the hose to stay in place. I did not like that we had to empty the bucket about three times and mop up water from the floor a couple of times.. All in all, I am thankful to have found this product so that my sister could finally get her hair done!4Simple things can be lifesavers!Because of bad knees I am wheelchair bound. I can see where people's expectations can be to high. This is not a replacement for a shampoo bowl like the salon. You can not lean back with out it adjusted right. But it worked amazing for my mom.She is home bound and we had her sit in her wheel chair and brought it to her and adjusted it to the wheel chair.Tips1. Use tools to tighten everything. You will need a flat head screwdriver, a Philips screw driver, and either two wrenches or a two pliers. And tighten everything.2. Adjust the bowl to the person.3. Use a towel behind the neck to cushion and help prevent water.4. Make sure you keep track of the drain hose. (I didn't and had to mop the floor)5. We drained into a mop bucket maybe a 7 gallon bucket.... And it was the perfect size to catch all the water6 if your kitchen/bathroom sink is higher than the shampoo bowl it will not drain into the sink. Basic physics.5It gets the job doneFirst, the pros: the bowl was easy to assemble, easy to use, easy to tilt up or down according to the height needed, and it is pretty sturdy.Now the cons: water does not drain all the way out with each use, so I have to pour it out after every use; the neck hole is very uncomfortable for my clients; the size is very cumbersome for portability; the hose does not stay down in the bucket (not included) that collects water and gets water all over my floor.Other than that, it gets the job done until I am able to get a shampoo bowl installed in my home based salon. I will still need to use it, however, for my clients that I travel to.3
