    Works like a dreamOn the old part, which lasted over 10 years, one of the sides has worn off so that it would no longer sit in the base correctly.This part replaced that one and works just like the old one did when it was new. I am impressed to see that this has even been improved on with the addition of a few extra bristles that help remove dirt out of places it could have been caught before. 5Economical Replacement for the One I Killed.Several weeks ago I made the mistake of vacuuming my sons bedroom after trusting them to pick everything off their floor first. For them, everything means the big stuff. Something like a push pin is just shoved under the closest bed. Because I vacuum under beds, I ended up with a push pin stuck into my beater brush roll, which I discovered after smelling something burning. I removed the pin and checked the belt and everything appeared fine so I finished vacuuming. However, the next time I tried to vacuum, I discovered the beater bar wouldn t turn. Investigation revealed the end of the beater bar had melted and then cooled in a way that blocked the roll from turning. Thinking I had an expensive repair in front of me, I took a chance and did an online search. I was thrilled to find I could replace my beater brush economically by myself and I quickly ordered the Rainbow Vacuum E Series Brushroll Brush for PN2 nozzle. It arrived and was exactly what I needed. Doing the repair myself was much easier than I expected. I was easily able to figure out how to install the new beater brush roll by paying attention as I removed the old one. My only complaint is that this beater brush has less substantial ends than my original one (the part that melted). The brush works great. I just hope it lasts as long as the first one did. 4Works fine with E series Rainbow vacuum cleanersIt does fit and works fine with my old Rainbow vacuum cleaner. I really just needed a rubber ring but decided to update the whole set . Glad I did ! 5What a difference a new roller makes!Perfect replacement for our Rainbow vacuum! The old roller wasn't spinning very well anymore for a while, but I didn't really think about it too much. This went down a lot in price so I got it to replace the old roller and HOLY COW! New rollers make a WORLD of difference with how good your vacuum cleans. I had to vacuum my living room five times because I was so impressed with how much crud it was pulling out of our carpet again...it was the same feeling we got when we first got our Rainbow! This is a must buy for anyone who has an old roller or would like to keep a spare on hand just in case. 5said it would fit my old vacuumThis replacement part did not fit my vacuum. Then, there is no way for me to return or replace this item. I found attempting to get the correct roller was a real hassle! 1Great ReplacementI was a little Leary at first... I have had to replace my roller brush once before and the Rainbow guy came out and brought the part and "serviced" my vacuum.. I paid way more and it was a Joke.. He didn't service my vacuum. He cleaned the way I clean it.I have long hair and lots of pets (all of which my husband is allergic too) I have to use my rainbow a lot and I get huge amounts of hair in it.. sometimes that hair gets caught up in the roller and over time it takes its toll... So ....Imagine my surprise when I got this in the mail.. I like it BETTER than the original and I think it fits better and I like the bristles better! My vacuum works like NEW! And for a way better price... I will probably order another one soon to keep on hand as I can't live with out my vacuum working! 5I would buy again.Can't speak to its longevity since I have not had it very long, but it seems to be of sufficient quality and it works well, provided you put it in the correctly, I installed it backwards the first time and it would not pick up small items, but after turning it around and installing it the way it is supposed to be it works well. There is an indicator on it or the power head, I just missed it. 4It's a Rainbow part for a 25 yr old machine. They just keep runningI couldn't find just the plastic spinning ends, which is what wore out. The new bar is great. The original has had 25 years of use, so was a bit worn, but still in surprisingly good shape. 5Perfect ReplacementNo it is not OEM but it is an exact fit, with a belt and great quality for the price. It shipped fast and is working perfectly. I'm glad there was another option to pick this up at a reasonable price. My vacuum is 15 years old and I spent enough money on it then, don't need to spend more on it today. Isn't that why we bought a good vacuum? 5Wow!I can't believe how much better my Rainbow cleans the carpets now! The brushroll is easy to install and works fantastically. 5
