This Little Spatula Is A Real WinnerI love this little spatula. I do not do cookies. I was hoping it would do for turning eggs in a small pan. Oh, yes, and how! It is just great.I just used this spatula this morning to turn 3 eggs in a very small pan. Since it is small, it can get under the individual egg without disturbing its neighbors. Since it is silicone, the spatula does not stick to the pan or the egg or carry any, what shall I call it, frying pan debris, with it. It works perfectly. I've only broken one egg since I started using it (2 times a week for about 2 months). The handle is short and curved just right for my purposes.You can see the "base", which is metal, through the silicone. I don't think it will break through, though, as long as you don't leave it resting in a hot pan, maybe not even then. I think it would take a tremendous amount of use for it to wear through. By then one probably needs a new one anyway.This is a terrific small spatula and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a small compact spatula. 5Works wonderfully but broke after 5 months.I ve owned these OXO spatulas for years and loved them. They are the right balance of rigid and flexible and are also extremely versatile (baking, saut ing, frying eggs). However, the one I bought only 5 months ago is already broken - the handle has separated from the silicone turner. Fingers crossed that this was a defective item and not a new and improved construction. I plan to order another and see how it goes. 4Good, but check the dimensionsVery nice little spatula. It ought to get five stars but I just can't bring myself to do that because it's so small. I know, I know, the measurements are given, and I do have a ruler; honestly, I've never seen such a petite spatula (I know, it's for cookies) and so it didn't occur to me they even made them so small. So while that was my own mistake, the four stars is to alert others it's not like other spatulas some of us over the age of 50 have ever seen. It's the size of small cookies.I don't make cookies. It will flip and egg, if it's not too soft. It will stir things in a pan that need turning. I still need an larger spatula. 4Favorite spatulaI bought this because my mother in law has one and once I tried it out, I had to have it! I've been using it nearly every time I cook eggs (works really well for flipping omelettes and fried eggs) and I'm very happy with its handling and size for cooking. I used it for cookies and it's great. I actually prefer a stiffer spatula for cookies and only use this for cooking. It's size and flexibility make it great for small pans. I also use it as a stirrer when I am saut ing. I am always looking for kitchen utensils that have a certain "feel" to them. I think most items I purchase for the kitchen tend to be to long or hard to work with . Not this one! It is smaller and easy to work with . I just love it ! I read the reviews before I bought it and saw where a customer said it was good for turning eggs and that is so true . I think it will be used on a regular basis and for many things besides cookies.Great product !! 5Mixed feelings, doesn't lastI love these, while they last. The small size works well for lots of things. I don't bake cookies, but use for flipping tofu in oven or stirring stir fries and eggs. Flexible silicone coating is nice for smaller pans and doesn't scratch. But I have to keep buying then every 6 months or so. This worked perfectly, so perfectly that I realized I needed another one, since it always seemed to be in the dishwasher when I needed it again. The silicone washes easily by hand or comes out perfectly from the dishwasher. The "cookie" size is great not only for cookies but for anyone who bakes small items or uses small pans (like in a toaster oven). I'm so sold on these that I've gotten rid of all my other spatulas and replaced with the various sizes of these silicone spatulas for all my spatula needs. 5
