    as advertised I like the solid head hose clamp and the fact that once on and tightened there is no leak and they last and last. 5Ending that Drip, Drip, Drip... These barbed hose fittings work most every time.. always use a new rubber gasket .. I've spent hundreds of dollars on garden hoses over the past 50 years , and the problem is always the hose ends,, Life Time Hose, LOL, we need Life Time Hose ENDS,!!! Men on the Moon, Pocket Computers, Cars that Fly,, and Hoses that DRIP !!! 4Saved my hose! Exactly what I needed to fix my hose. Just cut off the end of my hose where the hole was, slid on the brass nozzle and ring, tightened and was good to go. The only thing is that I have to re-tighten the ring every now and again, but I think that's because I live in Arizona and right now it's about 110 degrees... so with the temperature fluctuation the hose shrinks. But it saved me from buying a new hose, so I'm ok with that. 5Easy directions to accomplish! I recently accidentally cut a lengthy hose while pruning some tree limbs in my backyard. I was faced with buying another $40 hose, which I did not want wish to share with my wife as to what I carelessly had done. I eventually decided I would try your product and it turned out to be a lifesaver. I'm nearing 80 years old & I have never before had success in accomplishing this feat. It was simple to do & it actually worked without any leakage. Thank you so much!. 5Started leaking shortly after installation Started leaking shortly after installation. I subsequently bought another one from Lowes that was a better fit and longer. 2This is not Aluminum, it is Brass that contains Lead Orbit does not make aluminum hose repair fittings like this. All the fittings are brass, and all the fittings contain LEAD. 1Works great The hubby has a penchant for breaking things around the house, and guess who gets to fix them?!! I do. Yipppie! I finally found a good garden hose that doesn't kink up and hubby ran over the metal end with the car. Thought I would have to get a new garden hose, but a google search turned up this fix. Easy to install and doesn't leak. 5Made a broken hose usable again in no time flat I love this product. SO much better than plastic / synthetic hose end repair parts I've tried. The metal ribs really grab the inside of a standard garden hose (3/4" I believe?) and once you torque the clamp down, this thing makes an old hose just about as good as new. 5Modified to make leak proof The only way I could make this leak proof was to replace the Chinese clamp with two Made in the USA clamps that were installed together with the adjustment screws offset from one another. When tightening the Chinese clamp it would start slipping when approaching the required tightness. 2Great product I have been through leaky everything and was very skeptical this would work without leaking. I first put end on my hose - forgetting the clamp. It was such a tight fit, I couldn't take it off to put the clamp on. So, I tested it and it didn't leak, even without the clamp. I ended up opening the clamp very big and siding it on and tightening it, but it is a great product that works! Finally something that works! 5
