    So Far...It's GoodAfter seven weeks of service this soaker hose is giving me no problems It seems strong and has not developed any large holes. A friend has one like this that she has used for several years ,it works just like it was new. Therefore I ordered another one to replace the Andrews sprinkler hose that split. (See my comment on that one.) I would like to buy some more of the little regulators that you put in place of the hose washers to keep the water pressure down. The hose comes with three that are 3 different sizes,. but I lost two of them. If anyone knows how or where I may purchase them, please advise me. 4The tough cover helps it be much more durable than the usual black spongey kind that start to crumble before summer's over.I have lots of trees to water over & above what the irrigation system generally gives the yard. I've used several kinds of "drip" hoses but so far this is my favorite. The water drip is consistent the length of the hose. The hard plastic soaker hoses don't work at all. This was so thin and durable and it soaks everything perfectly. It didn't work as well when I draped it from pot to pot. If a flower pot is tall and then you have to drape it to a smaller pot and back to a tall one, it folds itself over enough to where it doesn't work well. Using it for a newly planted landscape or veggie garden is great. My mom has a huge vegetable garden and it's hard for her to water these days. Since I loved mine so much I ordered her 3. She loves them. Now she just has to go turn on the hose and it does the work for her! 4Great productGreat for newly planted garden. I can turn it on and run it for hours without breaking the bank, and it puts water where it's needed 5Was the answer for my rosesOne of my gardens is a rose garden of about 50 roses. You cannot water roses overhead as it creates issues with both the blossoms and the leaves and leads to sunburn if you get a lot of hot sun.I have tried just about every soaker hose on the market and had pretty much resorted to hand watering the base all these roses because the so called soaker hoses either didn't fill up all the way or shot water up into my roses.. My husband brought this exact hose home last night to give it a try and it was amazing.We irrigate from our lake so algae is a big problem with all sprinklers, except for the high powered shooting sprinklers so I was a little wary of how this would perform. I just turned the spigot on about 1/3 the way and the whole hose unraveled quickly and at this moment is doing an amazing job soaking the base of my roses. I have just now purchased another one via Amazon because I need a bit more length than 50 feet. 5I love using this flat soaker hoseI love using this flat soaker hose. It does exactly what it says and provides the right amount of water slowly to my newly planted fall garden plants. I like it much better than the previous soaker hose that was using which was not flexible. In comparison, this new hose is bendable and therefore does not stay stiff and dry out and crack. I really like the flexibility of this flat soaker hose as it allows me to wind the hose between the rows of my plants and also to put it close to the plant so that the water isnt wasted and gets right to the plants as needed. This hose conserves water and helps with the water shortage as well as helps me not waste a lot of water which runs my water bill up. I also like the end caps that come with the hose, as only one open end is needed to hook up to the water supply. I will continue to purchase more of these to supply my entire garden with watering. 5I bought this soaker hose to try instead and it works beautifully!!I recently planted a row of perennials about 30 feet long. I was trying to water them using a round, recycled rubber type soaker hose (the only type my local home improvement stores sell) and was having no luck. The water wouldn't reach the end of the row and only a few plants were getting watered. I bought this soaker hose to try instead and it works beautifully!!!! The instant I turned the water on, it was flowing through the entire length of the hose, including wrapping around the end of the row of plants and coming back! It is 1,000 times better than the recycled rubber hose! In fact, the rubber hose is going in the garbage asap and I'm buying another one of these! 5The best soaker hose I've ever usedThe best soaker hose I've ever used. This is WAY better than the stiffer kind that look sort of spongy. I've got my four of them looped and twisted and kinked around and through my straw bale garden in a way that should not work at all--yet reliably does. I love how flexible a shape you can make with these. One piece of advice--not a complaint--is every now and then take a philips screw driver and tighten the green clamp to prevent leaking. I also run two together on occasion, but they work better when a hose is to each one singly. A set of snap connects is a nice addition. 5Excellant ChoiceWalmart, Tractor Supply, and Lowes all had the same round, weeping hose. I tried it, but it just did not put out enough water. This flat one puts out in 10-15 minutes what the round one took 45-60 minutes to accomplish. The water flow is even all the way down the line also. Make sure that the line is not crimped. The hose comes with 4 different gaskets, so water volume and pressure can be controlled. The large holed gasket is installed already. I removed it, and put in the 3 holed gasket that you see in the picture inside the hose. Obviously, the smaller the hole or number of holes, the smaller the amount of water flow.I twisted the hose around various shrubs, and the hose worked well. I am really pleased. Currently, the temps in 92-99 now to 70-80 at night, although this is lower than in the past. I make it a point of taking my hoses up each year, but I am lucky to get 1 1/2 years before they begin leaking. I will update on how well this one lasts. The cloth looking cover looks durable. Time will tell. 5Good watering solution for narrow strip next to a fence.I have an 80 foot strip of earth adjacent a fence that is about 14 inches wide. Watering the space with a water want took a huge amount of time. Bought two of these plus a connector to place between them that has an hoping for the hose. Now I can turn on the hose and go away for a couple of hours, while the two soaker hoses water the space. I took them in for the Chicago winter on advice of others that they wear out when left outside.First year was a great success. We'll see how they do next winter. 5
