I didn't want to buy or rent real plates because of the crazy cost. I bought the blossom in the ivory and gold trim for the dinner plates and the vintage ones in ivory for the dessert/cake. The vintage ones looked more white to me than the blossom ones in darker lighting. The blossom plates took about two weeks to get here and the vintage ones were prim, luckily I ordered in advance. They arived in perfect condition none of them were broken I ordered 80 of each. I love the look of them too they are beautiful for being plastic. The only reason why I am giving them 4 starts is because they are very very thin and I'm scared they will brake with too much weight. I have not tested them with food yet but I will write an update when I do. 4Nice add on to the platesI ordered this for salad/fruit bowls for my parents 50th Anniversary. I already added the plates to my cart when I saw these and went back to add them as well. There is a matte swirl and shiny swirl on the edge of plate. Very sturdy! Only thing I wish is that they would do a complete set to include large plates, small plates and the bowls. 5
