    Hot Food Melts the Silver LiningThese serve their purpose for fancy occasions, but please be careful not put anything hot over the silver lining. I have guest put hot tortillas over the metal part and the lining melted into the food! Use these for cold dishes only. 3Silver Rims Scratch Off That Could Get Into Your Food!Sliver Rims are very easy to scratch off!I do not know what kind of the materials are the silver rims made of? I would think it would NOT be good for your health. I would NOT order these bowls again because of this reason.Regarding Re-Use these bowls: For those of you wanting to re-use these bowls, you can't re-use them. ONE Time use only. You cannot re-use them as the silver rims are scratch off. For the cost of these bowls, I thought at least I would wash them & re-use "one more time" to save money & environment. Nope, I had to throw out/recycle all of the used ones. NO RE-USE! 2Beautiful and stylish that makes dining easy clean up!I have been looking for disposable plates that looked expensive but didn t cost an arm and a leg. The set that I purchased was perfect for holiday dinners! Makes it look very luxurious and on top of that super lightweight and easy clean up! The plates are light blue and silver trim. they look very elegant in spite of being disposable. The cups are on the smaller size to my taste, but the silver trim is also very elegant. We had an issue with a few cups being broken upon delivery, but once we cleared that up all was well. Plates are STURDY! Cutlery is like any other plastic cutlery you would find in a party store or Walmart. But the plates held up well, and the napkins were thick and heavy duty. Cups are a little thin but looked really great for our big day. Overall one of the best purchases we made for our wedding. 5Your Guests will Mistake them for ChinaWe entertain quite a bit, and these are a great alternative to paper and traditional plastic plates. I have tried several of the different patterns, and they have all been nice. I have had guests say they were surprised when they picked them up, as they thought they were china (they really do look like china). They are more expensive than traditional paper/plastic plates, but well worth the price if you're looking to have a somewhat more upscale event. One note of caution is to not microwave on them; the gold or silver rim designs are metallic and will cause spectacular arcing. Have been using these for years and will continue to order them. 5
