Customer Reviews

Works in theoryI put this in our 9 month olds stocking. Since he has no concept of presents or Christmas we merely put this in the stocking for our own amusement and to watch on try to dump it out of the stocking. I always put toothbrushes in stockings so I thought it was funny to put one in the babies stocking......anyways....the finger brush doesn't fit on all fingers, and is quite awkward unless you basically have a hand the size of a child's. With an ill fitting finger brush it becomes a serious choking hazard! One bite, or head flail will send this lodging into a windpipe. I'll be trying the toothpaste but I need to find an alternate brush for my squirmy child and my apparently MASSIVE HANDS!3Great First Toothbrush and Toothpaste My LO cut her first tooth at 4 months. We didn't use the toothpaste at first since she had not had any food yet (not by any doctor's decree, just being cautious). We just wet the finger brush and wiped all her gums and tooth. Then she got the second tooth and started some food around 5 months. The toothpaste (I tried it) is pleasant and is sweet, but nothing too crazy. We brush her teeth morning and night and it has held up very well (she is 7 months now). The finger brush allows you to get all those gums and around the teeth pretty well. We own a baby tooth brush too, but right now, I prefer this-- especially at night when I am in the dark since it is easier to manipulate. 5It's a little pricey for toothpaste. My baby doesn't ... It's a little pricey for toothpaste. My baby doesn't mind it. The reason why I left a three stars because of the tooth brush. It is really soft and won't stay in shape so it's hard to attach it to baby gum or teeth to clean it. A few times, he would bite me while I was trying to clean his teeth. Since the brush is so thin, it hurt quite a bit. 3Happy with it.Use it for cleaning my LO's few teeth. Great for babies that are not ready for the tooth paste that must be rinsed out. The brush that comes with it is not great because I cant position it exactly right on the gum since my son closes his mouth and tries to chew on my finger as I clean his teeth. A regular silicone finger brush or even a wash cloth does the job.55 month old gives it 5 stars! I started using this about a week ago with my 5 1/2 month old son. He has 3 teeth and is working on the 4th! I was worried about using the brush with his gums being so sensitive with the new tooth breaking through but he LOVES it! The "bristles" are much softer than they appear in the picture. I use just a tiny bit of the paste and start massaging his teeth and gums. He likes to hold my finger and "do it himself" too. Now when he sees me get out the finger brush he gets excited! Hopefully we are setting good hygeine habits for the future! The only downside I have is that the finger brush is a little big for me which is weird because I have rather large fingers for a female. I just make sure to hold onto it with my thumb so it doesn't come off in baby's mouth. It's not enough of a problem for me to reduce my rating though.Happy brushing! 53 month old likes it!My three month old likes having his teeth brushed aka gums rubbed . :) He likes the taste and the feel of the finger brush on his gums and tongue. He opens up wide when he sees it coming! A way different experience then when I used a wet washcloth to wipe his gums and tongue.5mainly cuz she thinks this is somewhat like candy more than anything else My daughter loves brushing her teeth, mainly cuz she thinks this is somewhat like candy more than anything else..The finger brush is kind of a flaw for me. I use it to scrub my 1 yr olds teeth and she has the bite power of a gator. My finger stands no chance with this flimsy rubber. So I had to buy a separate toothbrush to use with this. 3Works for now Came packaged well. This works perfect for my son. He only has two teeth right now and loves to chew on anything. When I use this he does most of the work for me. It doesn't hurt my finger when he bites down right now but I will have to get a different kind of toothbrush when he gets more teeth due to the "OUCH" factor that I will probably have in the future. 4Super awkward for babies with teeth.I bought this for my 11 month old son, he has 6 teeth and he's not a huge fan of regular toothbrushes (besides to chew on them) so I thought maybe this would help, wrong! The "brush" part is pretty wide and fits perfect on his gums but barely even touches his little teeth. Would work just fine as a gum cleaner, which it is labeled as but I would take the tooth part out of the title as it does nothing for teeth.3NiceGenius is all I would say, but this tooth cleanser is out of this world.I know the toothpaste is good, but that little cleanser is a miracle. I've been using another brush with soft bristles since my son had teeth. Before he was one - full mouth. He would open his mouth, but I couldn't get his upper front teeth. Every time I needed to revert to using a cloth. I saw plaque and it was not nice.At first when I bought this I solely wanted the toothpaste...now I love the little tooth cleanser. Life saver. Gets inner and outer parts of the teeth.5Great Toothpaste. Terrible Toothbrush.I got this to use on my 12 month old daughter. Up until recently I had just been brushing with water but her doctor recommended I go with a fluoride-free toothpaste to help get rid of that milk-breath that can happen.THE TOOTHBRUSH: Sadly, she hates this toothbrush. The finger toothbrush is huge! I can barely fit the toothbrush into her mouth..forget about trying to move it around at all. It's much too large. Now, I will mention that my daughter is on the small side. She weighs 17lbs at 12 months. However, this toothbrush is recommended for 3-month old babies. I can't imagine this working for any small baby. The nubs on the toothbrush are WAY too small. They don't brush much of anything. This does NOT brush all sides of the teeth at once. This is NOT faster than a standard toothbrush. The gap between the two sides of the toothbrush are way too far apart. Meaning, you need to brush the front and backside of their teeth separately. The finger-toothbrush easily fits my fingers and will easily fit larger sized fingers as well. It's a comfortable fit and doesn't slide around.THE TOOTHPASTE: The toothpaste is great. My daughter usually fights me on brushing her teeth. Especially since she has 3 molars all cutting through at the same time. I let her taste a little bit of the toothpaste before I start brushing, once she realizes that she likes the taste she will let me brush her teeth. It tastes great to her and gets rid of that milk-breath. It's also safe for baby to swallow since it's fluoride-free. I wish the ingredients were a little better. More natural. BUT that's just me. I've turned into an ingredient hound and organic-only freak since my daughter was born.Overall, I recommend this toothpaste but would suggest you keep looking for a better toothbrush.4Perfect for my toddler who hates brushing!Well, my 18 month old is a purser when it comes to brushing. So for the brushing combat every morning, my husband finds this one to be most convinient as it has more control if parent is brushing the kid's teeth. We have tried A LOT of types and the kid just don't want to brush!I like this silicone body and bristles better than other brand I tried. They are flexible yet strong as opposed to hard ones in case of summer infant finger brush. And clean the teeth better.I have not tried but It should work on infant too for gums.Just order a tongue cleaner with it and you are all set !Hope my review helped you in making a decision.4Tooth cleanser is good, the idea of sticking a finger in a teething baby's mouth with only a thin blue shield around it was terrThe toothpaste seemed to work well. He likes the flavor and everything. The finger brush is a terrible idea. The first time I tried using it, the baby clamped his jaws on my finger hard! He didn't have teeth yet, but it was not a pleasant experience, nor was I willing to ever try to repeat it in case he tolerated it better the second time. I use the toothpaste with a different brush that did not involve me sticking my finger into his mouth and hoping he didn't bite! At my baby's first dentist appointment, my dentist recommended that we finish up this tube of tooth cleanser, then switch to one with fluoride. We don't live in a place with drinkable tap water, so he doesn't get the fluoride from the tap and needs a toothpaste that has it instead.3kid loves it but...I saw the reviews about the allergy warnings and thought it wouldn't matter. My kid never had allergy issues with milk or eggs. We've been using this toothpaste for awhile and my kid loves it, but tonight she broke out in hives and a rash within an hour of using it. Usually we use colgate but ran out so this week we've used only this.I listed everything she ate or came into contact with and the pediatrician believes it is the toothpaste.2Love the Gel, Brush Won't Last LongThis brush and paste are fine so far but it won't last long. My daughter does like the taste of the paste and looks forward to brushing her teeth. The finger brush is the part that won't last long. She only has her 2 bottom teeth right now but already tries to chomp down on my finger while I'm brushing. When she gets more teeth I'll definitely have to switch to a handheld brush since the rubber on this finger brush is pretty thin and doesn't do much to protect my finger. Those baby chompers are sharp! But for babies without teeth, this would be great.3
