    Wonderful shortbread pan with an excellent recipe included. This pan comes with a recipe that is perfectly good to use. Although, if you use unsalted butter, I would add an 1/8 teaspoon to the dough. I also tried other recipes and this pan worked well with all of them. The first pan that was delivered had some scratches in the nonstick coating in the corners. I don't think it would have effected its performance. But for the price, not cheap, I think I should be the one to put the first scratch in it. Amazon was great, as usual, in exchanging the pan. 5EXCELLENT ... It is a five star product all the way around but listing it as "Cast-Iron Aluminum" is miss leading and completely inaccurate. So I took one off. Come on ... be accurate. It's a non stick cast aluminum and that's just fine. Have used it several times already and very pleased with the uniformity of the cooking it offers. Recipe that was listed on the packaging was good but not my favorite hard Shortbread recipe ... so probably will be not making that one again. 4Love! Made two batches for a baby shower and ... Love! Look for recipes on youtube. 5Heavy, solid, lovely Love the designs and the pan works great. Nice and solid. 5Shortbread baking made easy. I bought this pan after a vacation to England wanting something pretty to make shortbread in. I used it with my granddaughters and we had a great time using this pan. Easy to fill with dough , shortbread popped right out with no problems , and easy to clean. This pan does not make small cookies. 9x9 so the cookies are 3 duh! We sacrifice and eat one cookie at a time , ha! 5Best pans for baking! Nordic Ware will never fail to please on helping to bake the perfect, pretty treat. They are durable and wash beautifully by hand. The recipe that comes with this works well. 5Expensive but nice It is as advertised and I like it. Very expensive though. 3This pan does the job! I now have two of these pans. The super fine detail of the designs can be lost in the baked goods and so as cute as these designs are, you may not find them quite as decorative as you had hoped. The cookies are still very nice. I do not like the recipe that comes with the pan...it's sticky and I found VERY difficult to work with...as in very annoying! I'm going to tinker with it (more flour?) or find a better recipe. It does taste good! Some other recipes gave better results. These pans require minimal seasoning and clean up well. They release the shortbread nicely so I've had no failures there. I found that after 10 minutes of cooling, inverting the pans on a cutting board and cutting with a pizza cutter gave me nice, neat little squares. If you don't have a lot of time to fuss over cookies but want something a bit fancy for holidays, teas, or parties...this is your pan! 5Nice details on the design! I like this pan! It seems durable but I did just get it yesterday. Used the recipe that came with it and it came out great. I would definitely give this for a gift. I did buy the double roller too. Works great for getting dough to fill in well and nice even bottoms to cookies so even cooking. 5Really nice. I love it! It makes all the difference in making shortbread. It cooks evenly. My only complaint would be, I wish the squares were smaller, that is a lot of shortbread per person. But I love it. 5
