    Poor Quality, Chrome Finish Worn OffPerfect size for the bottom of my crock pot BUT Mrs. Anderson did a very poor job in coating my rack. After a couple years on very light use the rack looks grey and nearly rusty. Very ugly and hard to clean. Did not cost much and is not worth much.1Good for baking We purchased three of these to use in the Charbroil Big Easy Infrared Fryer. They're the perfect fit for it. The grates clean off easily (which is really important when you're cooking chicken wings, since the skin tends to get baked on.) My only complaint - out of three of them, one of the bars popped off on the first cleaning, due to a faulty weld or something. We still use it but we have to be careful about not bending it or breaking it off. I have not contacted the company for a replacement. 3Works Great For MeI had been looking for a round rack for my small (2 liter) air fryer and came across this one. It works perfectly and as a result I can cook chicken breasts, pork chops and other things without having to turn them over during the cooking cycle.5Small, can maybe hold one cookieI completely dislike this product it is so small that only thing you could fit on here is maybe one cookie. I originally bought this for my pressure cooker thinking that it was a bigger size but it was it I don't know what I could even do with this I don't I don't even wanna spend money to return it. Just wasted my $4 on This. I'm very disappointed bigger doctor wear down making ribs in my pressure cooker but I could maybe fit only one riblet on this thing1Rusts easily The build quality of this rack is pretty good, especially for the price.Anything placed on the grid will be raised 3/4" off the surface.I got this rack for my pressure cooker, to raise canning jars off the bottom a little bit. Unfortunately, the rack rusted the first time I used it, since it was submerged in water. I did not expect this to happen since I have other racks that have held up to such use.This rack is advertised as suitable for steaming vegetables. I think you might end up with rusty veggies if you try that.I don't know whether the moisture from a cooling cake would cause rusting as well. Definitely don't leave it in a sink full of water. 1I found it to be sturdy and it stands up well to being in the ... I use this rack inside of a rimmed cookie sheet to make large amounts of bacon for a variety of dishes that I cook for my family. I found it to be sturdy and it stands up well to being in the dishwasher. I typically only bake on holidays and special family occasions, but it also works incredibly well as a cooling rack for cookies, peanut butter balls, chocolate dipped strawberries, etc. I only gave it four stars instead of five because it is a little short in the cookie pan meaning bad I cannot use all of the real estate in the pan. But otherwise, it does great job. 4Sturdy stainless steel baking mesh racks perfect for high temperature baking/roasting Happy with the sturdy heavy duty mesh on these, smaller metal weave does make it slightly more laborious to clean if you have breaded stuff baked on them, and they are too bulky to fit comfortably in a dish washer so hand washing is my only solution with a heavy scrub down. I do however see myself using them for years to come- great kitchen basic to have. 5Great, but not dishwasher safe No real complaints--except that this is not dishwasher safe! I don't know that I would have gotten it had I looked more carefully. That said, it's actually a great rack--very sturdy; fits our sheet pans well (it's slightly wider so it actually sits on the longer edges of the pans, which is fine); and it's bulged slightly upwards (convex if you're looking at the top) so that it can hold heavy things and not eventually get a depression in the middle. Like the other, weaker one I have. Overall, great baking/cooling rack, just kind of a pain to wash. :) 4Very sturdyGreat little gadget. I use mine to keep my 6 heavy bottom pan from sitting directly on the Blackstone Griddle. Pan is sturdy enough that I can take food from griddle and place into pot. I cover it with lid and cook other things. When I am done, I can transfer bot pan and stand to the table with no mess.5Don't buy this. It Rusts!!I bought this to basically set hot pans on the counter so not to scorch my counter top. It started rusting after 4 washes. I still use it, but it is not food safe, durable, or rust resistant.1Great Versatile Baking Sheet These baking sheets are really sturdy and great for both baking and cooling. I have started putting the half sheet rack inside my half sheet baking pan, and using the combination to bake crispy bacon or roasted veggies. Air circulates underneath your food leading to more even baking and a less greasy finished product. These are also great for cooling - I've used them for everything from cooling brownies in the pan, resting a roast, and cooling jars of yogurt from the instant pot. It has stood up to near-daily dishwashing without any nicks or rust. 5HIgh quality and compact size High quality and perfect small size. I got this for my smaller kitchen. I wanted a good balance between quality, price and size, and this one did the trick.The grid size is far enough apart to allow small crumbs through and provide good air flow, but not so big as to let the cookies droop through. I don't use this in the oven so can't comment on its heat resistance. 5RustsWashed in dishwasher twice, already completely rusted up on the seams. Have used others for years, and they are still in great shape. This one was a waste of money. In the trash it goes.1After Using It For A While, It Still Works This seemed like a throwaway cheezewhiz add on that might rust out over time, but it actually has worked out quite well for me.I use it to set a bowl in my steamer to cook vegetables and fish. It works quite well for that purpose.I hand wash and dry it immediately after cooking, and have seen no signs of any kind of rust or degeneration at the weld points.Be aware that your mileage may vary, as a number of people have pointed out that the item represented in the listing may not be the item you receive as suppliers to Amazon seem to vary over the year.Also, this isn't chrome or stainless steel. The magnet test shows it to be just the current stainless steel-like substitute used in a lot of products coming out of China...but that is OK if you know the difference. Wash it upon receipt, don't put food directly on it, keep it clean and dry, and yay! You've got another useful kitchen item.For under $4 as an Amazon add-on...I found it well worth adding it to a purchase. 5But I was disappointed that I went through all the trouble of measuring ...Just received this baking and cooling rack and although I haven't tried it yet it looks ok. My problem is with the description of the size. I ordered it to set in my roasting pan to bake bacon in the oven. The size says 11 1/8" X 9" when in fact the working surface is that measurement but the full outside frame measures 11 1/8" X 10 1/2" so the pan I was hoping to use it in doesn't fit. It does work laying it in one direction with the bottom of my large broiler pan so I won't return it. But I was disappointed that I went through all the trouble of measuring my roasting pan and being sure to order one that would fit only to discover it won't.3GREAT Mrs. Anderson's Baking Round Cake Rack, 6-InchI bought two of these to use in the bottom of an Ogallala 2 1/2 Gallon Cream Can Supper Can (on Amazon) . Fit though the mouth easily and two over lapped cover the whole bottom . Keeps smaller pieces of food off the bottom. It only raises the food about 1/4 inch off the bottom but if you want you can use jar rings under them to raise food higher in the liquid . If you use the jar rings you can use only one on top of them . I have two of the cookers so do that if using both. It is stainless so I clean with Bar Keepers Friend (on Amazon) and dry well which keeps shiny and rust off. Great little racks that can be used many ways other than cakes .5Perfect for a pressure cookerI got this item because I recently got a pressure cooker and needed something to hold up the food and pans I use with my pressure cooker. This has worked perfectly for this reason. It fits in a 6qt pressure cooker. Its a bit small for anything else though. I like that I can use this while cooking and I do not have to worry about the quality wearing down. I do not feel like this will rust. I used it last night for a chicken in my cooker and it held up under the weight of the bird and the high temperature of the cooker. I am very glad I purchased this item for my cooker and can not wait to use it more often!5Using it as a freezer shelf for my WhirlpoolOK, I confess, I did not order this product as a baking or cooling rack. Instead, I ordered it to serve as a freezer shelf for my new Whirlpool small fridge that, although it has freezer shelf supports, does not come with that same shelf 18" wide by 10 or 11" front to back. Nor can one be ordered.So, I started searching for a glass shelf but alas, none fit and if it did, it would have cost over 35 dollars. Soooo, then I got lucky and found that this baking rack has just the right dimensions and is also quite sturdy. It fits perfectly in my freezer as the new shelf, allows air circulation, takes up hardly any space, and can also serve as a cooling rack if I borrow it from the freezer.5
