    It is quite tall but the size was perfect for my needs otherwise. I needed this size to fit between two reclining sections of a sofa for the stationary section. It is the perfect width. My only real complaint is that it is just a little bit too high, but I am keeping it and it is away from the sofa in a corner as extra seating and I will only use it when I have guests. (Do measure first before ordering. ) I do like how the lid opens and stays up. It would be great for toy storage or anything else. You can sit on it and it is firm and okay, not soft. The color is quite light, but it is very neutral and I have a light brown leather sofa. If the feet could be removed, it would be a perfect height for my sofa. 4Seriously bugging me This has been a true Amazon shopping ordreal. Ordered two of these ottomans in the solid sacchi silver fabric at same time/same order. One ottoman arrived on time. It was perfect, I love it. The second ottoman, however, had some kind of delay and arrived four days late. Odd and frustrating, but not a huge deal. But imagine my surprise when I open the box and it's the wrong ottoman (fabric was a brown/beige pattern). I sent it back and Amazon sent me a replacement. The replacement arrived a week later. This time it is the correct color, but it reeks of something that smells like vinegar to me. So strong you can smell it feet away. I tried airing it out, but the stench will not go away. It's going back. So I ordered TWO more (with hopes that one of them at least will be perfect like that first one), and now the delivery is estimated for two months from now. Mind you, all of these were prime orders and all said the ottomans were in stock when I placed the orders. This is ridiculous. If it weren't for the fact that this is the only ottoman I have found after days of research that fits in a particular space in my bedroom, I would be done with this. Five stars for the well made ottoman, assuming you get the right fabric and it doesn't stink. Zero stars for the experience. 2This is a very nice ottoman. However it was a bit too tall ... This is a very nice ottoman. However it was a bit too tall which made it uncomfortable for one to put their feet up on. The storage feature is always a plus. I purchased it as a gift for my daughter and son-in-law. Return was easy but you will incur a fee for return shipping. 4Five Stars perfect. love them! 5Nice good size ottoman Very pretty, well made and sturdy ottoman that arrived earlier than expected. It is also larger than I thought. With the wood feet it is 19 inches tall which is higher than my loveseat so I took the feet off. But I liked having the option. The color is a pretty sea foam which matches perfectly with my pillows etc. And happy accident that this color was on sale. It has a large interior to put blankets and pillows too. I am using it as a foot rest but it can easily be a mini coffee table. I sprayed it with scotch guard to keep the dirt off and iy had no fading of color. All and all very nice! 4But that's not terrible. Otherwise the ottoman is of good quality My only complaint is that it is taller than I expected it to be. But that's not terrible.
