Well made filters, and an especially good value when reused. These coffee filters do an outstanding job of filtering coffee. I use them in a pour over funnel to make my daily cuppa, and these really are the best filters for the job. I like bleached paper, not that the unbleached has any flavor I can detect, it is just my preference. These have supposed micro flavor pores that allegedly do something to make a better cup of coffee, but I think that's marketing bunk.What makes these filters superior than the generic versions is that they fit the funnels perfectly, and the way the seam is crimped makes it more sturdy. I like to use a filter several times before discarding it, and these filters hold up better over time. The reason I reuse them is not just because it is less wasteful, but because the first time using the filter the flow rate of the water is a little too fast for the best cup of coffee. As the filter gets used, the flow rate slows, and I get a better cup. The melitta branded filtered hold up better to scooping out the used grounds for discarding, and the seam doesn't come apart like generic versions usually do. I can get 10 or so cups of coffee made with one of these filters. 5Not perfect, but they work. hmm...so I know all manufacturers are gonna be different. My coffee pot says it takes #2 filters and it comes with a gold filter, but those never filter out all the particles. I tried these and the fit is just a bit off. When putting in the filter into the filter holder (not sure of the term), it seems to need to be smushed in and doesn't seat perfectly in there. Maybe I'm asking too much and just want perfection ...yes that's it...lol. It does filter nicely and doesn't leave any residue. 4Five Stars As expected. 5For my plastic single coffee cup maker Perfect fit 5Convenient These are my "go to" filters for pour over coffee. 5Annoying to open These work fine for brewing but they tend to stick together (because of the bleach/dye presumably) and take a few extra seconds to open. I'd recommend going for the natural brown version to avoid the hassle: Melitta #622752 100CT #2 BRN Filter 3get browen ones-better for ecology I like the brown ones better..no bleaching means less chemicals in streams and rivers..switch to brown 5Very good filters ... I use these filters to make my coffee through a funnel...it is the best coffee I have ever had.The Melitta filters do a good job and I get a great cup of Java.The big drawback here is the price. This is on of the few items I have found to actually be less expensive in the store. However, buying on Amazon sure makes shopping a whole lot easier. ;-) 4Great Filters but a Little Pricey These coffee filters are the best that I've used, hands down. I have a cheap 5 cup Farberware coffee maker and the permanent filter isn't great and having to clean it all the time was frustrating so I decided to get these. They are pretty hard to find in a store around me, so I ordered them here and I feel like they are a little pricey, but it did come with 100 so it wasn't too bad. I used some store brand filters and they would always make a lot smaller yields than I set the machine up for. These filters; however, make as much as you set the coffee maker up for and don't let any grinds into your fresh pot of coffee. 5A Coffee Filter was needed Just replenishing my need for coffee filters without leaving home. 5
