    I use these for needlepoint. They work well with ... I use these for needlepoint. They work well with cotton floss, but only the two larger ones can be used with needlepoint yarn, even when threading just one strand of the three ply wool. I'm still looking for a set of needles all of which will work with wool yarn. Being elderly, I find counted cross stitch too difficult for both eyes and shaky fingers. Any suggestions as to needles which might be more suitable for wool needlepoint would be greatly appreciated. 3Great set of needles I used these needles to bind off on a knitting project and they work great. They are not too thick or too thin and they slide right through the stitches without messing up the final product. They are easy to thread.I would advise having a mini-Ziploc bag or some sort of storage device because they can easily disappear once you open them and don't have something to store them in. 5I am very happy with these metal ones I crochet a lot and got tired of the plastic needles for weaving in my ends. I am very happy with these metal ones. There are various sizes which works great for different weighted yarn and even after a lot of use, they feel very sturdy and like they will last a long time.I gave 4 stars because I would have liked a better container for them then the little plastic thing they came in. 4Darning needles I bought these extra-large needles to thread loose ends of serged seams. These loose serger threads can be passed back into the seam to avoid simply clipping them off. 5Ribbons in braids Actually bought these to thread ribbons through my 4 year olds hair. Darn you pinterest!! 5Great Wide-Eyed Blunt Needles Bought two packs of these to keep in two different bags with my different crafts. Use one pack with plastic canvas projects and the other with crochet projects. They work very well. I'm glad to have the different lengths as well as the wide openings to thread the yarn in the needle. 5Perfect for threading in yard ends These large blunt metal needles are perfect for threading in loose yarn ends in knitted and crocheted items. I bought these to replace my plastic blunt needles, and having the metal needle not flex the way the plastic ones do is exactly what I wanted. Threading in yarn ends will never be my favorite part of my handmade projects, but these metal blunt needles do make it much easier and a time-saver! 5Nice, Thick, Strong - perfect for yarn projects My daughter learned how to make a basket with yarn and cording at school. She wanted to take it home and make another one, but the teacher wouldn't let her take home those plastic needles. I found these on here and loved the price. Lion's Brand is a great brand, so I knew I could trust them. They did not disappoint! The case makes it easy to keep track of them without losing them, and they are nice, thick, fat and strong. Most of the time I don't need the Clover Threader because the eye on these needles is that large but occasionally I need the threader for very thick yarn but it helps perfectly. These needles are blunt ended and don't separate the yarn threads as you sew up ends. If you are unacquainted with these needles, they aren't for sewing cloth. They are for knitted or crocheted projects. They are perfect for these. 5Great I bought these for my four-year-old so she can make bead necklaces. She loves them and they are not too sharp so I trust her using them while she threads beads. 5
