    Not Worth the $$$Not worth $50+. Hollow steel tube and plastic connectors. This should be more like $19 - $25 tops. We feel totally cheated on this one. We should have known better. If I would have seen this before it was put together it would have gone directly back. The photo looks so much better than the actual product. Amazon, you should police your vendors better. 1Does what it's supposed to but expected better for priceDoes what it's meant to and looks decent. However, it's pretty light and has some plastic pieces on the corners. Putting something heavy in the base might help. As others have stated I expected more heft for $50. 3Exactly as describedVery sturdy. Tall enough to use with regular sized bath towels. I put bubble bath, etc in the bottom tray and it is perfect for what I needed. 5Great product but installation is CHALLENGINGThis is great in my shower stall, to hold wet towels or wet clothes.NOTE:1. Installation requires a lot of force and hammering to join the metal components onto the inserts/connectors. It took MUCH more time and precision than I anticipated.2. BE CAREFUL FOR TINY METAL SPLINTERS IN THE JOINTS THAT FORM WHEN YOU HAMMER THE METAL COMPONENTS! They stick out of the joints and can HURT you like tiny sharp metal splinters.3. The metal splinters, and tiny scraped pieces of plastic from the inserts clog the joints in some areas and cause the metal components to join crooked or partially. I had to use a very small pointed tool (an exacto blade) to pick out the tiny junk from the joints. Then I hammered it further all together. -I d buy it again, despite the installation trouble. 4Perfect SizeThis towel pedestal was just perfect for the space I had. It holds two hand towels and a bath towel. I removed the tray from the bottom and am using it in a drawer. The unit is sturdy/heavy enough not to fall over. 5Stylish and Useful Towel RackWe wanted a stylish rubbed bronze looking towel holder to hold two towels in our master bathroom. I liked this sleek style and it was reasonably priced. I am very happy with the product we received. The only two things I don't like as much, are that:1) I was expecting the white tray at the bottom to be ceramic white ware but it is painted wood. Since I wasn't planning to put wet things in the tray, it's fine, but I still think ceramic would have been a nicer touch.2) It was somewhat difficult to put together because the corner pieces fit very tightly into the hollow metal bar frame. Now that it's assembled, I'm glad the fit is tight because I know it will never come apart. However, when I was pounding away at the pieces with my rubber mallet, I was really concerned I was going to destroy the product - especially since the corners appear to be painted plastic.Despite my two points above, I'm still really glad we purchased this product, but hopefully this will help keep others who order it from being surprised like I was. 4Plastic corner connectorsThis thing should be priced at $20 or less. At almost $52, I expect 100% full metal, easy and quick assembly; something's that you can dismantle after installation without breaking it.The 4 connectors (for upper corners) are PLASTIC, finished in a way to disguise as metal to match the frames. You will need a rubber mallet to hammer them in...WHAT! You will need 2 allen wrenches (one to hold at one end, another to hold the other end) to tighten screws for the bottom rods; however, only one allen wrench is provided (no big deal, lucky I have extra).Overall, the big turn off is the plastic connectors for a $52 product. 2Very PleasedWe purchased this rack for our newly remodeled bathroom. We did not want to make holes in the walls. We chose this small hand towel rack and it was perfect. Made of good quality and sturdy, easy to put together as well. 5If you are looking for a functional small towel rack this worksI needed a towel rack that was more narrow than a lot of them out there. This one holds normal towels just barely off the floor - which is enough. It's plastic corners seem fine if you actually use a rubber mallet like they say it installs easily. It's not particularly nice, but is functional and the size i needed. 3Uneven finishOverall construction is OK, however the finish on the metal frame is not even at all, being so thin that bare metal is visible on one end to a very dark almost black on the other end of the pieces. Since the stand was fairly inexpensive I opted to just respray it myself rather than go through the trouble of sending it back after I had assembled it. A little QC in the manufacturing process would easily fix this issue. 3
