Exactly what i was looking for! Purchased these to move a few matresses to a new home. These mattress bags are very THICK. I purchased 1 king size, 1 queen size and 2 full sizes in these bags. They all came as expected. I dragged a few mattresses down stairs, through a concrete floor garage and over some asphalt, loaded into a truck and dragged them some more. Not a tear in sight! I will definitely purchase these again in the future if needed. Thanks for a great product! 5Great Mattress bag at an excellent price It is an incredibly thick cover, a great buy for the price. I ordered something else first that was similar in price but very thin, which I had to return. I ordered 2 of the twin size bags, one for the mattress, the other for the box spring. They went on easily and, because of the thickness, I do not have concerns about storing them. There is one thing you should know; they are open on one end. Plenty of room is provided for foldover, but there is no zipper or closure. I secured mine with a wide masking tape, which seemed to work fine. All in all, I was thrilled to get this after seeing what else was around and comparing prices. 5Great product for protecting your mattress I bought a queen size and it fit a queen pillowtop mattress with room to spare. (See pictures). The bag is sealed at one end (it is like a pillowcase) and there is enough extra plastic at the open end to fold over and seal with duct tape. The bag is made of heavy duty plastic and survived going down a flight of stairs, getting loaded on and off a car roof rack a couple of times, and then into a new house. No rips or tears. 5Very heavy duty Great bag for my twin size mattress!It is indeed very sturdy and thick, not cheapy thin like you can get at some moving stores and such.Especially with this mattress needing to go in storage, it did not tear during transportation and I feel very confident that it will hold up while stored and if it should get shuffled around in storage.Really pleased with this transaction and Mike has been wonderful on communication and seems genuinely concerned to make sure I was happy with my purchase, to which I am! :) 5Very thick and durable. Would buy again. This made it much easier to discard our old mattresses. We didn't need to cut plastic or roll it around the mattress and tape it. It was very durable and easy to get on the mattresses. Lots of room left over to fold down and tape it closed. Didn't tear while carrying it out of the house. I purchased queen size for our mattresses for our upcoming move based on others reviews, glad I did now. 5Worked perfect! I bought two of these, one for the mattress and one for the box springs for my daughter's twin. We moved these items, covered in the plastic, across the state (and up and over the mountains of Colorado) in the bed of a pickup. Had a bit of rain on the trip and the mattress and box springs were perfectly dry. No rips, tears, holes, or issues. I'd buy these again for any move. 5This is great if you need to return a mattress I bought a memory foam mattress that ended up causing more harm than good, so, I had to return it.In order to do so, I needed a bag big enough to fit a queen size mattress and strong enough so it wouldn't tear apart easily. Since the mattress was one of those that came in a box I had to vacuum the air out and roll it over, but i'm no pro and it turned out pretty big to fit in a box. Turns out this bag was so heavy duty that I didn't even need a box to ship it back via UPS.I know this bag was meant for storage, but if it could keep up with the job I put it through, I think it will do fine just standing still in a storage or if you need to move out. 5Phase 1: Perfect. Phase 2: Perfect! Phase 1 is packing my mattress and box spring into these protective plastic bags and storing them in a self-move container for a few months. It was easy to slide the mattress and box spring into the bags. My mattress is Queen Size, and it is pillow top on both sides. It is 12 inches deep and the bag cover was about 15 inches deep. The bags were generous in size, and allowed for ample closure using clear packing tape. The size of the bags was perfect and there were no problems whatsoever.Phase 2 will be to remove the stored mattress & box spring from the storage container and bags in a couple of months. I will report on Phase 2 sometime in the near future.UPDATE for Phase 2: The mattress and box spring made it through the move undamaged! They remained dry, clean, and totally unscathed during the 850 mile transport and 6 week stay in the storage container. Highly recommend this product. 5This didn't tear though I cringed the whole time she carried it like that; ) I went with this for the thick plastic since I am so particular about about keeping my matress clean. Girlfriend helped me move and didn't have the strength to pin the mattress in her hands so she held it by the plastic which for most covers would probably tear then the matress would fall. This didn't tear though I cringed the whole time she carried it like that ;) 5Two Stars I was surprised to find out that these don't seal??? 2
