Customer Reviews

Five Stars This is beautiful curtain, used as a mural. 5wrong colors, evocations of death This thing is ugly as sin, and I'm really sad I wasted my money. For one thing, the ink is brown instead of shades of grey, and for another, a few of the trees have lesions on the bark that point to imminent demise, so instead of sitting on the toilet peacefully admiring my new shower curtain, I'm staring at a dying tree, frozen in time by an ignorant photographer (and an ignorant culture, evidently), and rendered in a color that gently clashes with the rest of the d cor. Plus it makes the whole room seem much smaller.I can't speak to its actual effectiveness. What is a shower curtain supposed to do, other than to provide opacity?I wish I hadn't opened the package, but it had to be hung before I was hit by the full effect. Sigh. Buyer beware. 1PERFECT for my guest bath I LOVE this shower curtain. It may not be an accurate map but it's fun. We put it in the guest bath & it just looks perfect. It is plastic but I had a white fabric shower liner already & with that behind it, at first glance, it looks like fabric. I would definitely recommend this to someone who just wants a pretty, inexpensive curtain! 5Fun shower curtain, really happy with my purchase! I love the pattern! The only reason I did not give a 5 star is being it looks liker there was a manufacturing flaw with the last hole for the curtain ring to go through - it had the reinforced stitch where it was supposed to go, but did not actually have a hole. I just had to make a small slit in it and it has been perfect! The pattern is grainy as others have mentioned in the comments, but is really minor. Additionally, although this is not a heavy fabric, I would not describe it as 'plastic' either - it feels like something in between, nice lightweight but not cheap feeling. 4Colors Dif than pics/print not sharp So I had this great idea to use these shower curtains on a wall. Unfortunately the print was fuzzy, looked too fake and there was too much brownish purple. Did not look like the pic. I ended up buying birch wallpaper that was more realistic. Paid more for the wallpaper, but in the end, it accomplished what I was going for rather than these. You may have a different use, so might work for you. 1Looks gorgeous in person but a little darker than in the picture This shower curtain from Kikkerland is made of tightly woven polyester. It's designed to be used with a plastic liner behind it. The openings for the shower curtain rings are the stitched, button-hole style which I prefer because it is quieter. The design is exactly as pictured but the one I got was a little darker than on the product page. It has very deep greens and quite a bit of black. This worked even better for my bathroom as all of my bathroom fixtures are black. It does arrive with packing folds. If this bothers you, throw it in the dryer for 5-10 minutes with a damp towel before hanging. I did this and the folds disappeared. You might want to use a sheer white or clear liner behind it because the colors are so dark that a thick opaque liner would make it really dark in many showers.I've had so many compliments on this shower curtain! This really surprised me because, hey, it's a shower curtain. But it is stunning and I'm delighted with it. 5Window to White Birches Had this old window that I restored and hung on the wall. I thought a photo of some kind would kick it up a notch, but didn t want to spend a lot. Put white birch in to the Amazon search engine, and found this. Tacked to the back of the window .everyone comments on how nice the piece looks. 5I just moved into this heckin' tiny and boring bathroom, but once I slapped this sucker on ... Listen up, nature lovers. This here spicy shower curtain will brighten your bathroom right the heck up. You see this picture I posted of it? Lemme tell you a little somethin' somethin'. I just moved into this heckin' tiny and boring bathroom, but once I slapped this sucker on a curved shower rod and added that sassy little grass bath mat, I get all the compliments. Do you understand how nice it is to go and do your business and it feels like you're surrounded by God's creation? You're sitting on the toilet, look up, and immediately you think to yourself, "HOLY MOTHER OF SWEET INFANT BABY JESUS. WHO TRANSPORTED ME TO CANADA?", when in reality, you're sitting on a dingy toilet in a borderline questionable apartment. 10/10 would recommend. 5Very dramatic realistic and artistic if you are going for an Asian look I wanted fabric instead of plastic, so it can be washed. Very substantial poly fabric, yet amazingly lightweight and flexible enough so it doesn't sag a cheap flimsy shower rod like mine. I have a very narrow shower stall so I folded it in half widthwise so that the printed image shows on both sides. Most of the eyelets lined up except for the open end, so I only needed 8 instead of 12 rings by hooking the folded matching eyelets from both sides together. It hangs perfectly, glides open and closed smoothly and the length is also perfect with a 1/2-inch clearance at the bottom so the curtain doesn't drag on the bottom of the shower.Color matches online image exactly if you have a monitor that is calibrated right. My newly renovated bathroom is painted bright white and I installed the white Kyoto bamboo slat cabinets available on Amazon to hold towels, bedding and toiletries. I want to go with a clean Japanese minimalist look, including bamboo blinds on the window. When I walk into the bathroom the only splash of color is this striking green bamboo shower curtain and matching green towels and bath mats, with towel and toilet paper rods in bamboo and stainless steel.I am very happy with this shower curtain and Amazon Prime + Amazon Lockers were totally reliable as usual. 5Locations are spelled wrong? Weird blue... I bought the map version. One - color is a weird blue - not navy, not teal, not really ocean like, just murky version of grey blue green. It is not shown accurately online. Color can go that way but it was off enough I had to put it in the secondary bath. Two - and this might be stupid but... there are typos on numerous locations on the map. This is hardly something that affects performance but when guests point it out thinking I didn't notice, etc., it becomes a somewhat embarrassing discussion. I made it a joke by adding a post it note pointing out the misspellings until I replaced it. It's the largest image in the room, especially when sitting, and if this was in a children's bath, it would have to go so they didn't "learn" the wrong way to spell those locations. Even if you call it "vintage", it's not Old English spelling or anything like that - just basic transpositions of letters. I expect this to become a drop cloth. Very disappointing. Three - there are no weights at the bottom of the curtain so it "flies" around as you shower which is annoying. I'm easy going about stuff. I work in design staging homes so I know color, performance and impressions are important. This fails on every count. 1
