4Doesn't work on alpacas or llama'sDidn't work for the animals I needed to give shots and other veterinary carel
2Worked on my horse.Work on my horse. These could be just an inch or two longer for larger horses. Easy enough to use.
4Need taper on the end to fit the buckle faster to get away from feet quicker. The horse got there feet back apart needs to buckle each leg be better.
3One StarToo big for my goat
1One StarCHEAP... stitching fell apart after a few uses. Look elsewhere for durability.
1Hit or miss by mail order.I much prefer wider hobbles, 1-1/2 inch being optimum. These were advertised as 1-1/2 inch, so I ordered them. They were 1 inch only. Since the shipping roughly equaled the purchase price, returning them was not an option so I ate the loss. They were also advertised as being nylon and after close study, I suppose they are but it is a very course weave, not smooth like some other nylon tack that I have. I tried them, and after two nights of use on my mare, she developed rub sores. In my opinion, these hobbles are useless for an extended packing trip because of their narrowness and abrasive composition. As long as I have a forum here........$50 (or more) for the 1-1/2 inch leather equivalent that are prone to tear because of an inherent design flaw in the hardware design ie: the round rings give the leather places to tear under extended stress. Better an elongated '0' shape, or even rounded rectangles to spread the stresses across the face of the belt. Bottom line. No hard feelings on my part. I can use 'em in a pinch and they are definately stout.
2For Larger Animals (Cows, Horses, etc.)It works for my Nubian Goat BUT I had to punch many more holes in the strap to fit. It works, but wouldn't order again. This is definitely for larger animals. It was hard to tell when ordered because no lengths/sizes were given other than width.
