    Buy filters. The ones with the fan aren't the correct size So far, displeased. Why? After opening the box, there was three filters all right. But only two of them fit. The third filter was not even big enough to stay in the cut out for the filter, meaning, it just falls out of the housing of the fan. The filters are the most expensive part of the package, by far, and that's where they get ya. 2It's relatively quiet and it works like a dream It's relatively quiet and it works like a dream. It has a higher suction (in my opinion) than similar items at a lower price range. I'm going to be using it with an acetylene torch; I'll update when I've used it. 5I would not recommend this to anyone. It doesn't do the single job it was presumably designed for. The fan is too weak to extract fumes unless the iron is within an inch of the unit, which is impossible for a lot of repair jobs. However even when the unit is within proximity it doesn't even filter the fumes enough to notice a difference in the room, after soldering for just a few minutes the room is filled with the smell of flux. The power switch is also poorly placed and you have to adjust the angle of the unit to turn it on and off. I am extremely disappointed in this product, I would not recommend this to anyone. 1Works Good but has some flaws. Works well, but is cheaply made. The plastic is thin and it is tough to get it to stay in the position you put it in. The switch is in a bad spot as well. Located on the front, lower corner. For it to work well it needs to be aimed down at your work and this covers up the power switch, making it difficult to shut off. It should have been on the back of the unit. Also the fan is loud. It does work pretty good despite it's down falls. 4Five Stars quality 5Overpriced but good fume absorber. I was a bit disappointed with this because I thought I would see a substantial quality increase compared to those cheaper Chinese fume absorbers. To be honest, this seems about the same as those cheaper Chinese ones. Only difference to me was that the carbon filter was a bit thicker with this Jonard one. 4
