The membrane normally lasts about 2-3 years depending on your source water quality. If your water is very hard (Total Dissolved Solids level above 750 ppm), please contact us for customized solutions.

    Don't Buy Bottled Water Anymore!It's sooo nice to have the iSpring under-the-counter reverse osmosis water system. We live in a time that we need to be concerned about plastics and to have this system makes me feel like I'm helping to reduce plastic use and has made my life so much easier not having to haul containers of water around! One of the many benefits of this system is the outstanding customer service. Don't be afraid of using this system! I've had questions on various occasions since I purchased the system in 2015 and iSpring has ALWAYS been extremely helpful. Most recently, Nick at iSpring helped me when I managed to put a replacement filter together incorrectly. (That was MY fault! I didn't read the instructions closely enough!) I emailed the company and Nick provided the information I needed before the end of the day. When you purchase this system, know that you're getting a great product with really terrific customer service!5Perfect replacement Hey, it fits! I expected some problems but it fit perfectly to replace a well-used Filmtec unit. I use both types of RO filters and they work equally well. 5great tasting waterGreat product5It workedI installed this item. A bit complicated. But it works almost like bottled at the store (which is kind of hard to trust, obviously). Knocked pollutants down to about 10%.5Great product at a reasonable price Improves my water immensely. My TDS meter dropped the tap water from 117 to 7 parts per million. While only only measure of water purity, it's still an impressive drop. 5Great Membrane ! better than 75 GPD Great membrane! Purchase the 50 and not the 75 GPD. See my story below about 75 GPD.I Purchased the 75GPD membrane as a replacement for the 50 GPD membrane from my original Ispring RO system thinking it would give higher flow. Original system with 50GPD was reading 20 to 40 parts per million (ppm)for my water for about 8 months (good), then went above 50 ppm. The 75 GPD replacement membrane never made it below 70 ppm. I contacted Ispring and they were very nice and sent a replacement 75 gpd membrane, this one did no better than the first 75 GPD membrane. Ispring said that my RO system probably had a crack. After dealing with this bad memebrane I decided to purchase the 50 GPD membrane that came with original system. After I installed it my water was back to 20 to 30 ppm. I recommend that you purchase the 50 GPD not the 75 something is wrong with the 75 GPD construction. Also buy yourself a Total Dissolved solids meter for $15 to make sure your RO is maintaining 0 to 50 ppm. 5Sometimes the water out of my tap tastes like metal. Sometimes its pink Sometimes the water out of my tap tastes like metal. Sometimes its pink. It always smells and tastes like chlorine. After going through my RO machine (also iSpring), it just tastes like plain old water, which is exactly what I wanted.I did bypass the charcoal filter that comes AFTER this one in my unit and the water tastes much better. 5Works great Works great. Used to replace the original 75gpd membrane. Don't notice a difference between the two. Using a cheap TDS meter, and replacing all the other filters at the same time, had a reading of 18ppm. 5easy change out Well, what can I say....fit perfectly, easy change out, PPM down to 30, and you just can't beat the price 5Just feedback.It is easy to install however it needs to include a direction which way it should be. Unless it s goes either way which in my case it wasn t. But still a good product.5Lots of wasted water? Change to this one!Had my filter constantly run for some reason, using more than 4:1 ratio... changed this out and it came right back to 2:1-3:1 ratio. I had used mine for a little over a year before having to swap mine out. Your mileage may vary. But a good sign you need to replace is if the wasted water runs way more than it should.Easy install, no issues so far. System back to how it was like when I first got it.5Perfect replacementIt was the perfect replacement. Replacing the filters takes a little elbow arm, But I can definitely do it myself. I love this product.
