    Leaky This filter started leaking from the non-filter section (when the filter was turned on) much faster then the previous one i had purchased. 3So bad! It is leaking So bad ! It is leaking 1They should have used a METAL (like the old ones) ... They should have used a METAL (like the old ones) insert into the faucet, the cheap plastic one keeps breaking off ! And now the 1 month old filter leaks and sprays every where!!! 1Leaky waste of money. I would have given it no stars if I could have. I had one just like it for the better part of twenty years and it worked like a champ. When it finally fell apart I bought another one just like it. However, the new one is apparently not made to the older model s quality. It leaked like crazy and nothing I did would make it stop. I took it off the faucet, re-installed it, re-read the instructions, took it off again, re-re-installed it. NOTHING WORKED! I threw it away and bought a Culligan, which works very well but the replacement filters for the Culligan are crazy expensive. This was a total waste of my money. 1Faucet mount water filter Been buying this water filter for decades and have gone thru the company name changes - Teledyne, WaterPik. Other than a under the sink water filter, this is my favorite type and this company works well. Over the years, the filter is made with more and more plastic but filter still works well and each filter lasts numerous years before replacement. My only complaint is that I wish the filter cartridges cost less. 4Quality Control should upgrade to metal adapters as this level of cheapness on an adapter which holds the weight of the filter d Review after using for one month: plastic male adapter is now stripped (attaches filter to faucet. 15/16"-27M). Filter will no longer attach to faucet. I will be purchasing a metal male adapter for increased durability. Quality Control should upgrade to metal adapters as this level of cheapness on an adapter which holds the weight of the filter device to the faucet renders the product useless and diminishes an otherwise excellent product. Reducing stars from five to four.Supposed to replace filter cartridge after 200 gallons or every 2-3 months. A sensor would be a helpful upgrade.I only turn the filter knob on when I want clean drinking water; otherwise, for all other purposes, I use in regular faucet mode. This way, the filter should last a good while. 4Smart purchase I live out in the country with very hard stinky well water. Since installing this filter system I no longer have to purchase water for drinking and cooking. Filter life so far is about 5 weeks. Very satisfied with this filter system- price and quality of function! 5Good unit but have problem with the plastic adaptor ring This filtration unit works good and I am using this type of filtration for more than 15 years. The filtered water does tasted better than without it. The white unit looks good in the kitchen and the design of filtration unit is easy to use and easy to change filters. The only complain (not to get 5 starts rating) for this unit is manufacture changed the adaptor where it connect to kitchen faucet to a cheap plastic material. If you rotated the unit to hard the adaptor may break and become unless. I saved my old original copper adaptor when the plastic piece break. I hope manufacture should re-consider to go back use copper material instead. 4One of the better water filters. We already had one and it worked great, so when it broke we decided to buy the same brand. 5... are available in stores and have never been really happy with them I have tried Pur and Brita water filters that are available in stores and have never been really happy with them. They are over priced and the mounting system is terrible. I took my chances on this one because the design looked nice and the price was good. I had a little trouble initially getting it on because it is more complex than others (which is actually a good thing). I realized that it came with a little tool to tighten the first part of it before you actually tighten the rest of the filter on. After that it was snug in place and the water flow is very strong with no leaking at all. I am very happy with this purchase and will continue to buy the filters for this, which they say you need every 3 months, I definitely recommend to anyone who has been searching for a good quality faucet filter. 5
