    Works well This power cord kit got the job done. It's pretty easy to use and the installation guide was helpful. However, I wish they would use two different colors for the wires. They simply label one end as smooth and the other as ribbed. It would have been easier to use black or white so that the wires would line up with the wires of the InSinkErator garbage disposals. 4Solid Cord, Easy Install Bought this alongside our garbage disposal because it doesn't come with a cord. Very easy to install, no issues.My only complaint would be with the disposal design, after you install the power cord, it sticks out perpendicular from the bottom and prevents the garbage disposal from being set on the ground unless you want to potentially damage the cord. Makes install a little tricky, be nice to have this on the side instead. 5Would purchase again-- Product arrived quickly and was exactly as described and was what we needed. The new disposal we purchased did not include a power cord (as many of them do not come with one) so we purchased this power cord kit separately. It was very simple to install with step-by-step instructions. The disposal has been in use for several months now with this power cord and it is still working great with no issues. Would purchase again- 5Don't forget the cord! Many disposals do not come with one. I had to replace the garbage disposal this week, and had intended using the existing power cord. After removing the old, leaking disposal, I discovered the previous owner had used an every day grounded extension cord. To be safe, I decided I needed an official InSinkErator cord. The price on Amazon, even with next day Prime shipping, was the equivalent to the local box store without the headache of traffic.Since I had to install the new disposal so I could use the sink and dishwasher, I connected this cord from below, not prior to hefting the disposal into place as the disposal instructions say to do. Not the easiest way to do it, but not nearly as hard as I thought it would be.Definitely worth the cost if your disposal needs a cord. 5Easy INSTALL Easy install. Sturdy feel. Hooked it up myself in seconds, minutes. I was going to pirate old cord off old Disposal to attach to new Disposal-- but... figured old one was eight, maybe 10 years old. So for the LOW PRICE, why not install a new cord and be able to sleep at night. 5Everything you need to get your Insinkerator up and running... Everything you need to get your Insinkerator up and running. Many people do not realize garbage disposals typically do not come with the the needed cord and accessories. Order this with your new disposal and you will be set! 5THis did not work I am so disappointed. I ordered this mid-July anticipating using it in my new offices following a mid-August move. The move and construction took longer than planned, and when I sett up the new office this week and tried the splitter to take the image from my computer to my TV and monitor, it dod not work at all. Both screens are blank. It is 10 days past the return deadline and the supplier did not answer my email request for advice or options. I really was looking forward to having my clients see on a TV what I see on my monitor, but not with this item. 1Don't be intimidated by installation Provided power to my insinkerator!I'll be honest and say that I tend to be very leary about electrical work of ANY kind. I always have a healthy fear of electricity and the pain it can bring you if you do something wrong. That said, installing this power cord into the insinkerator was not a big deal and worked perfectly, so don't be intimidated by the fact you have to wire it in rather than just plug in and go. 5InSinkErator Cord, including Cord Passthrough and Proper Wire Nuts - Makes Sense Perfect fit and match for the InSinkErator 750 Pro.The included diagram shows that the smooth, not ribbed wire is the hot wire, the green wire is the ground, and the remaining ribbed wire is the neutral wire. One could easily verify the wires with a continuity tester or ohm meter if any further doubt.The instructions for the 750 Pro indicated that the White wire on the disposer is neutral. Everything fit perfectly, nice and snug, convenient.The old cord had corrosion on the plug at the outlet. Using a new cord, (and in some cases a new receptacle) seems to be just the right thing to do since this type of equipment is supposed to go a long time without replacement. 5I didn't need it with my new insinkerator. It's a replacement part only. Too expensive to return on it's own. Ended up not needing it and it was too expensive to return.I bought this with my insinkerator HC hot/cold water heater because others were buying it with theirs on Amazon and I didn't see the cord in the picture.I used Amazon warehouse so maybe that was why I didn't need it but I doubt it. 5
