Nice product for the price
Nice product for the price, the design allows you to increase or decrease the spacing between pegs to adjust for your pot and pan set's lid design.
5Finally a frying pan/lid organizer that you can adjust to fit your cookware.
I got two of these to organize my new hard anodized cookware. I didn't want to stack the pans together because of scratching problems but needed to have enough room in my cupboard for the entire set. This simple organizer does the trick. You pull it apart like an accordion to the size opening you need, and it really stretches! I used one with the slots pretty close together for all my lids, and stretched the second one wider for my various sized fry pans. It holds the pans/lids very securely in an upright position making it easy to organize them and find the one I want. I plan on buying another one for my cast iron cookware out on my barbecue pit. Great price, very well constructed, and actually useful. Made from solid metal that is polished smooth. Not cheap or flimsy, my heavy fry pans stay upright no matter how many I take out of the rack. It didn't tip at all even with the first item in it by itself. Great buy!UPDATE: There's one annoying problem with this organizer. The vertical posts that you screw into the base tend to come loose over time and you will find yourself having to tighten them often. Since there is quite a few of them, this gets annoying fast! I solved this problem by dipping the threaded ends in a little rubber cement glue and then screwing them back into the bottom frame. Ever since then, no more loose posts! I think that any similar style glue would work as well.
5Love it and fully adjustable - see pics
It works perfectly and I was able to adjust it in a way that my lids could lean and still fit under my short cabinet area I test a picture of it and use before and after
5EXPANDS TO FIT YOUR SPACE
Using this on top of a pot rack to store all my lids. Its an adjustable unit that expands to fit your desired area. Very solid piece and useful. Would recommend!
5Poor man's sous vide rack
I like many before me used Google to locate a decent rack for my sous vide bath. Most of the "official" devices labeled for that intended purpose are at least 40$ or more. Thus far I have only used this in a handful of cooks, but it has held up quite well. The tines can be removed which gives it further flexibility for size (though I suggest covering the pointy screw). Objects that like to float can be clipped to this and remain seated at the bottom of the bath (here is looking at you corn). I have also turned it upside down and used it like a cage to trap things under it.It's stainless steel, so I imagine it should last quite a while, not sure how much prolonged heat the rubber feet will be able to take, guess we'll find out.
4Perfectly adjustable Lid rack
Exactly what I had hoped it would be. Fits in drawer perfectly and could be adjusted so that the lids tilt enough to fit within the height of the drawer opening. Glad I ordered two so I can give one as a gift.
5Great for sous vide
I have purchased two of these products. I do not use them for pot lid storage, but I do use them in my sous vide cooking. I have a plastic tank that I cook in. When cooking via sous vide it is important that water be allowed to circulate around the bagged food. This rack is perfect for this purpose it holds the bag off of the bottom and separates the bags so water can flow around under and above. They can be used either upright or upside down to help keep the bag submerged. Sometimes you may want to remove some of the upright tines to allow for bigger items depending upon the size of your tank. It is easy to unscrew the tines. Since that will leave screws pointing up, you will want to cap them so they do not puncture the bag. I do this with small ~1/4 inch pieces of 1/4 inch tubing, I use the tubing that is used for my drip irrigation system, works perfect. This item does appear to be stainless steel and they don't rust after a few days submerged. Keep in mind that neither the rack or my added tubing actually contact the food, so there are no toxicity concerns.I have no idea if these work for pot lids but they should, and they would be handy for other organizing tasks.
5Love the rubber feet on this adjustable organizer!
I love any kind of organization, so of course I jumped on this. I am using it in my cabinet to hold large plates. The tops of the pegs are rounded, so there is no harm to the dishes. My main reason for getting this one in particular is that it's adjustable; you just adjust it accordion style larger or smaller. I wasn't sure how it would fit in the cabinet, so having it adjustable was key. This was a bit pricey, and at Ikea it's not nearly as expensive (I think it's about $6.99 there). Just keep this in mind. I like the chrome finish as well. I would recommend this product to others.
5Beautiful!
This looks so awesome sitting on a shelf! Love it!
5No idea how it works as a pot lid organizer, but it works perfectly as a sous vide food package holder!
This is a much cheaper solution for my sous vide machine than the expensive holders that are "made" for that purpose (which are almost exactly the same thing). It works perfectly! It's stainless, so it's fine in water. It comes apart readily, so it's easy to clean. It's sturdy. This is a much better solution than spending $50 on essentially the same thing.
