My old RO system was a whirlpool like you buy at Lowes, with the quick change high cost filters and membrane. The TDS was higher than I though they should be, but I figured that was due to the smaller filter and membrane size. Now after a couple of months use with this membrane in my own system the TDS are much lower! TDS has been cut in half compared to the whirlpool system!Note: I did soak this membrane in a zip lock bag in RO water for a day before I installed it. Wash your hands in antibacterial soap and or wear rubber gloves when you handle any RO parts or replace filters so as not to contaminate them! Flush the first couple of tanks after changing the membrane or filters.5Good filter but people should be forewarned that this is ...Good filter but people should be forewarned that this is "dry" filter which means the manufacturer never ran water through it so if you decide to still buy this filter make sure you run all the water in your RO system about 5 times before drinking it.4Fits just perfect!I lilke this brand product a lot5Think the product has now failed.This product was great for the first two months with 98% rejection.
