Customer Reviews

Fan limit control Fit perfectly, functioned flawlessly. 5Great productLimit switch on furnace went. My Daughter, 2 dogs & 5 fish tanks were without heat in a NYC winter...Not good. Received & installed my Honeywell limit switch within 24 hrs. Heat & normalcy restored.5Failed after 4 days.Worked for 4 days after it was installed. After that the fan side switch stopped engaging. Fortunately the safety thermal limit switch still worked and shut off the furnace before it got too hot. The built in manual switch would still turn the fan on so there were no problems with the wiring or fan motor.1Replaced a burned out switch. Direct replacement and easy to install. A locked blower motor burned out the switch. After the install of a limit switch, and fan motor, the furnace functions as it should. 5replacement partPurchased this when the old limit switch failed to turn the blower off. Three mounting screws. Easy installation and immediate results. My furnace is functioning correctly again. Generally I'd prefer to wait a season to review a component incase of failure, but the part works as intended and shows no signs of failing. Thank you.5Solved my problemFixed the problem of my oil furnace shutting down randomly. I can t believe my local heating and air techs couldn t figure out why my furnace kept shutting down randomly. I even simulated the problem and they still couldn t figure it out.5Perfect replacement part. This is exactly the part I needed. Blower motor (fan) turn-on and turn-off temperatures are able to be independently set and the over-temperature gas-cutoff can also be independently set and can work with either line voltage or low voltage but you must remove the break-off tab to use low voltage gas cutoff. This part will serve nicely as a generic fan and limit controller for a lot of furnaces that require an 11" or 11.5" probe. The part matches the description and part number of the item being sold. The item was well packed and arrived in excellent condition and the temperature calibration is spot-on. The item was sent quickly by the seller and arrived in just a few days.5Thanks guys just what I neededThis is what I needed, my fan wasn't shutting off. During the installation my previous fan/limit switch had a "low" connection for the fan on switch. This limit switch has a push-pull button on it that does the same function so that wire did not get connected. Everything else just got connected same as before and the fan is back to working properly. Most likely more efficient since there was no telling at what temperature the old was coming on.5The wire connections were the same and works fine. I only wish it was made in the ... This controller switch replaced the original Honeywell unit which came on the Niagara Natural Gas Furnace ( circa 1955). The new controller has the same length probe and housing size. The wire connections were the same and works fine. I only wish it was made in the U.S.A. like the original. 5New parts for old machines. An almost classic part. My furnace from the fifties had an earlier version of this that finally gave up the ghost. A mere sixty years of operation. Sheesh. Anyway, this dropped right in and fit like an old pair of socks. It worked the first time & ever since, winter and now summer, heating & cooling. It's good to find new parts for old machines. Keep 'em running.5Check the lengthThis part rusted out in my [old] furnace so I needed to replace it. Easy DIY project if you follow the instructions and keep track of taking the old one out. Check the existing one out before you buy the new one!! There are different stem lengths so you have to make sure you buy the right length5Works great Requires the hard "solid" wire type, which I didn't have, but I was able to make it work. HVAC folks that came to my house said they couldn't get the part for me....this was a cheap fix. 5The genuine article and AMERICAN MADE! Works just like it should. Make sure when you buy that you get the correct length. 5Good!It was fast delivery from Life and Home, 1 week faster than predicted threw amazon. I wasn't without heat, my electric furnace still work but my wood option was on and off. Reason for replacing the switch I never new if the fan was going to start. Had a few times it didn't. A down side was I had 20$ surprise of duty to pay but still ended up being cheaper than list price. It works great reaplace my fanswitch L4064R1024, The only difference is the max cut out temp is 250 on this and my old one was 350, but it was set on 250 and this one is set to 200 which is fine I didn't change that setting, only the off and start setting I ajusted it like my old one.Installation is plain and simple. Hopefully It will last me another 10 years. Seems like a good fan switch. Was exactly what I was looking for.5Mine had issuesIt's was easy enough to install, but the switch on mine that goes between auto and manual operation is faulty. I can push on the button slightly and the fan shuts off, but it won't be long before it releases just a little and the fan stays on.2Replacement for 30 year old honeywell Works as an proper replacement for the original fan control, I have the low voltage sensor so I used needle nose pliers to break off the tab (just like the original part) now the furnace is running like a champ 5
