Customer Reviews

Cheap and Flimsy, Won't Last, Doesn't Execute WellI'm really surprised that this is best seller for this category on Amazon. The handle is cheap and flimsy. While the swivel motion is nice in theory, it does not execute well in practice. The brush is designed, so that when you use it, it catches the fabric and removes pet hair. Unfortunately, because it catches the fabric, every time I try to use the brush, it attempts to swivel on me. The brush pulls on the fabric and as a side effect, the brush head shakes and tries to swivel. A double sided brush is a much better idea. PASS on this brush, and get something that will work and last. I cannot see this thing making more than a few weeks. Disappointment.2Happy camper!! Received my brushes today, a couple days before delivery date. Of course I had to try it out today. I have 2 long hair kitty's, and cat hair on my clothes can't be helped. I hate the sticky lint things, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with these. One happy camper here. Brush one way to get the kitty hair off. Flip it n the hair comes off. Hallelujah, there will be NO MORE kitty hair on my clothes 5Rotates when you use it Works but the spring that holds the head on is too weak, it keeps twisting as you use it.I actually glued the heads on to stop this which means you can only use it with one handor remember to push with one hand and pull when using the other. I would look for somethingelse. 2It's really easy to clean with your hands Used these quite a few times so far. Generally use them on the upholstery because we have so many freakin' cats. The reason for the side switch is to make it easier for a left or right-handed person, against a grain or with a grain type thing. The grip function only works in one direction, so it makes sense that it swivels around. If you use your left hand and want to pull it towards you, you switch it to one side. If it's the opposite hand or you want to go away from yourself, you switch the way the head is situated and it pulls the hair right off.The swivel part has held up after a few months so far, which is why I wanted to wait to review it in case it broke down, but it's doing really well. It's really easy to clean with your hands, but on some materials it doesn't quite catch all the hair, even raking it across the dang thing. This only happened on my chair backs, but other than that with t-shirts and jeans it works wonders. I hope this was useful to you! 4Best brush I've usedI start with 5 stars and take away for things I don't like. In this case the brush is as advertised and is, as the title of my review indicates, the best brush I've used. I haven't used all of the lint removing brushes in the world but I've used a few and as far as a brush that is both reusable and extremely effective, I've yet to find one better than this. It cleans up easily and works wonders on furniture.I bought two.Another review I read indicates that this brush breaks after 6 months of use. As of this review the brush costs a little under 6 USD. I haven't had it for 6 months yet and will update this review if it does, but even if it does the brush's effectiveness would prompt me to just replace it after each one breaks. At about a dollar a month per use it's cheaper than other reusable lint removing brushes.5They Work (but)... These are a must have for me. I keep one at home and one in the car. They remove the biggest chunks of lint, fur, etc and save a lot of money versus using only tape rollers. But I do have to finish up with tape rollers to get the finer hairs especially on anything with polyester in it, such as these all black work clothes I have to wear. The finer hairs just press into the material and don t want to come along when I glide the Magic Brush over them.I also have rollers which don t use tape; you rinse them off and immediately reuse. Those work OK but I think these are better for my purposes. 4Worth the money! You'll want more than 1!Before buying these, I had been using disposable scotch rollers. I will not go back after purchasing these. (Always double check to see if you can find better pricing, though.) I have more than 1 cat so these things are fabulous for dehairing my bed at night. For outfits that need de-catified, I will still use the scotch tape rolls, but for general use, these truly are fabulous! Side note; they do have a tendency to break with rough use, so either be gentle or do what I do; tape the sides in place and just dehair it in the opposite direction instead of pressing the button to turn it.5Great product! I almost did not buy it with ...Great product! I almost did not buy it with a lot of the negative reviews and people saying how cheap it was. But for less than $5 AND getting two of them, what do you expect? I got this because I have tried everything to get my blanket cat hair free. I finally got this and I must have gotten half a cat off of it in hair! Easy to use. Just make sure you are brushing in the correct direction! You want the bristles to be facing the hair other wise it will just push the hair around and not pick it up!5Good enough that I can get rid of the tape rollersWe have two cats and a fluffy dog. There is pet hair everywhere... but there is less pet hair on clothes and furniture now that I have this. This is the second lint brush that I've tried, so I am not an expert on them, but this does work well enough that I don't need to buy any more tape rollers to de-lint myself when I get dressed up.The first lint brush I tried was pretty useless, so I had to stick with the tape rollers. :)However, unlike most of the reviewers here, I have not gotten the hang of the swivel feature for this brush (and I have been trying). When I have tried it, the brush head just flips all the way up, so I don't use the swivel at all. Also, even after about six weeks of use, the fibers in the brush are starting to show very faint signs of wear. It does not look like it is going to last much more than a year or so. That's a reasonable lifetime for a product these days, but what I really want are things that will last much longer.Still, it works well, it is affordable, and the handle is comfortable. Now I can get rid of the tape rollers... really disliked how wasteful tossing away all that tape was, and they never worked really well to begin with.4Great Price, Good QualityIt's made of basic plastic, so it's not the most solid thing in the world. But it's a fair price, and it gets the job done. I've uploaded some pictures for anyone who wants a closer look (a picture of it in a bag doesn't really help).5Absolute Garbage. They both fell apart immediately when I opened the package. One of them had some pieces inside that may have made it swivel (if it hadn't fallen apart before I could even try it). However, the other brush had nothing on the inside to make it swivel, or even hold it together. 1Works good! This works well for what I need it for. It isn't all "clouds open, angles sing" wonderful, but it's not bad either. You use it by brushing your clothes with it. One way will create little grippy things in the red material and grab pet hair and lint and stuff like that. Run it the other way and all the stuff you just collected with your brush will slide off. I highly don't suggest doing that on your clothes. I use my hand for it. Since I hand wash clothes, my clothes have a LOT of lint.I needed something, that wasn't tape, to get the lint off and this works. While it doesn't get every last piece of lint off (what lint remover does?) it gets the majority of it and that's what I needed since I don't want to walk around looking like I got dressed inside a lint trap. The thing that confuses me is... what is the point of the swivel head? I don't know. But it is flipping awesome to play with! Although my teenage sons think I am a bit weird when I press the button repeatedly and run after them yelling "HELICOPTER! Ptttttttth!"5Great for cat hair on couches This thing is awesome. I saw a lot of reviews saying it breaks so I just try to be careful when using it. I try to hold it in the I middle where the handle meets the head, and I rotate it carefully when needed. I use this on my couches to remove cat hair and it works so well that I wouldn't use anything else. I'm embarrassed to post this picture but I think it is necessary to show the real power of this simple tool.It is a little hard to clean off with your hands so I just go back and forth a couple times on the couch and it all collects into one ball that you can remove easily. 5Clever and convenient, but soft nap and awkward shapeI bought three of these to replace some two-sided one-piece versions that my wife kept breaking with her heavy-handed cat hair brushing. I broke one of these on first use, attempting to figure out how to rotate the head. (Pull the trigger, dummy!) The felt nap is softer than the old one-piece units we had, so these don't pick up cat fur as well. Also, the offset shape makes for some awkwardness in sweeping large areas, like sofas or beds. The trigger-rotation is very convenient, once you get the hang of it, and I discovered that these can withstand dropping down an entire staircase. Though the reason it fell down the stairs is that it just refuses to stay in my back pocket while I am vacuuming. Maybe these are designed for clothing, rather than furniture? But we use sticky rollers on our clothing to avoid damaging the fabric.2Works well for what it is Basically, this is a type of material that holds hair very well going one way, and releases hair very well going the other way. Make sure you understand how it works before you use it. Going one directly will grab lots of hair, going the other will do nothing. That is why it has the reversible switch, which is nice. I have used others that have the material on both sides, and this is just as easy to flip. Also, bonus that it comes with 2, so you can keep one at work if you want to. 5Impressed at how well it works!!This brush is awesome!! I have a short-haired dog who sheds a moderate amount, and I've always used those lint rollers with disposable sticky sheets. We tried a lint-removing sponge once that didn't work in the slightest, so I was pretty skeptical of this brush at first. But I am thrilled to say that when you brush with a vigorous motion, it really pulls the lint and fur off your clothing/furniture, and collects it on the brush! You can flip the brush head in the other direction to reverse the nap if you're brushing with your other hand. Just be careful you have the nap lined up properly when you start brushing, or you will brush all the lint that's collected on the brush ONTO your clothes...5Good product! Very effective removing pet fur. Handle has a nice heft and easy to switch directions. This is also suitable for clothing. This handle might be a better fit for men who don't find the white handle models easy to use. That being said, I have a small hand and it's not too big. Give up the tape and buy a brush. It will make life easier. 5Not magic, but pretty darn closeTwo fluffy cats leave enough fur everywhere that you'd think I had bunnies, llamas, and long haired goats here too. I can't live without these swiveling pet hair removers.Pros:*It picks up a *lot* of hair and fur. It picks up fur you can't even see until you see it on the brush.*A push of the thumb swivels the red brush in the opposite direction, so you can just keep going (one direction picks up hair, the other direction rolls it off the brush).*It lasts a long time. Two brushes last me a year.Only one Con: It's left me with a drawer full of unused sticky-tape roller things.5
