    adequate desk Overall it's okay. Some have asked if you can switch the long and short side. The answer is yes but the keyboard holder can only go on the short side. It definitely feels smaller than I expected but I bought the desk anticipating only keeping it two years. I did not want to disassemble my other desk to put in this house that I will not be staying in long term.I would say assembly was easy but there were a couple of issues with the machining of the threads of the metal rods for the top and one leg. The screws did not go in far for 3 of the holes. The screws went in easily in the other holes so they were not the problem. Cheap quality screws that began stripping when I had to apply more torque. I ordered higher quality screws to replace these.I could not use the computer holder since it was about a half inch too narrow.I have a dual monitor arm with two 27 monitors that fit fine. 3Very sturdy desk, plenty of room for work and play, very competitively priced Purchased almost two weeks ago and using it everyday. I was specifically looking for an L-shaped desk with wooden top and metal frame for durability, just like another desk I had long ago. This type of requirement easily sells for $1000 on Amazon but not this desk, price actually very very competitive and affordable. However there were some compromises to get the price that low for example sketchy instructions, some parts were not precisely cut or certain plastic parts where metal really should be used. So bit more difficult to assemble than strictly necessary but if you dont give up, you will be rewarded with a large desk area, sturdy work surfaces, solid construction and plenty of room for monitors, laptops, writing and so on. After some communications with the dealer, I sent them photographs of stuff they did very well, stuff they did not do so well and asked them to improve. They have a really good product at a really sharp competitive price and without hesitation I can recommend this desk. Bear in mind my remarks and you might find you have a product better than expected. 5Pretty good! For the money the desk is a very good buy! The desk is sturdy and seems durable. Although it took awhile (3-4 hours for me but I was by myself putting it together with no power tools). The only reason I gave this desk a 4 star was because the keyboard trey slider didn't seem to be able to be attached to the desk or the instructions were just bad also the piece that goes on the back of the computer caddy is the wrong piece it's actually another part of the desk but with holes drilled in in the places that the needed to be screwed in. But other than those little problems the desk is very nice and worth $150 4This is a pretty awesome desk This is a pretty awesome desk. I have 4 monitors arranged in a 1 over 3 configuration, and they fit nicely on the long end. It's a shame the keyboard tray is mounted to the short end, however a second keyboard tray and a dedicated mouse tray make for adequate room for all my peripherals. I run a G510 mouse & keyboard along with a G13 keypad, and an old Saitek X42 HOTAS. It takes two additional trays to hold everything but it works.Disliked the cart, as the front wheels fit about 2/3 of the way forward on my tower, but it's a gaming machine with a not so tiny tower, and a smallish cart is certainly forgivable. The part that made me a little angry during assembly is the corner piece. I omitted the raised piece because the monitors take up a lot of the real estate. Lining up the corner with the first piece was a pain. Leveling the second piece with the corner was a phrase Amazon would censor. Neither particularly held me up.I don't believe in 1 or 5 star ratings. 4 stars is my top mark. 4Very satisfied with this purchase Very satisfied with this purchase. Was in the market for an L shaped desk for my art studio. Was initially looking at getting a nice cool looking glass top, but after reading some reviews about the glass shattering I changed my mind. I have two 60lb+ blue nose pups running around and they sometimes like to peak to see what I am working on, also I use a Ergotron arm with one of my pen monitors.....didn't want to chance that either situation would result in the glass top chattering.This was the only wood top desk in the price point that I was in, glad I went this route. The desk is very sturdy once put together. Has plenty of room for your items. Could be a bit taller, as I found the keyboard tray to be useless for me so ended up not using it. Not a deal breaker as I mentioned before the desk gives you plenty of space. Great desk for the price. 5It looks good! This desk looks fantastic in my corner office. I have it set up where the long side is facing my wall, so I have a simple way of getting to my desk. Perfect size for my full sized synthesizer, and gaming desktop. Almost everything is completely sturdy (more on that later), and the price was fairly decent.Setup time in my case... not so good, It took way longer than I thought it would, but there are many reasons for this... One huge problem being the packages containing the hardware were supposed to have labels on them.... (You know, A-H or something)... WELL, the labels apparently weren't at all stuck to the packs well enough... I found half of them stuck to Styrofoam. I had to go by some semi-accurate picture instructions... Removing half a star.Nodding back to "Almost everything" being sturdy, Within two weeks of having this desk assembled, the keyboard tray is now officially broken... I am not entirely sure if I am stronger than i thought, but the track rails for the tray are broken and bent, and i can (but shouldn't be able to) remove the tray off track.... whoops. There went the other half of that star...However, The problems I had are probably fluke personal problems... This is a very good desk, it looks nice and I would recommend it. If anything, I would like to see HomCom offer replacement parts. If this is already a thing, please let me know, otherwise, that would be a nice touch. 4DEFECTS The middle bar for the middle part was warped at the top, the little shelf bit's 3 legs each had issues, with one not even drilled to fit the screw. One of the table supports broke where the screw went in and had to have adhesive used on it to place the piece back in. Trying to screw the desk top on in the back is difficult because of the bar in the back. I'm still able to use it, but I fear that it could collapse at some point.Shoddy upper platform mounting design. The mounting for the very top platform - where the monitor sits - is a poor design. You insert a short double-ended screw into the end of each riser pipe, and then screw the riser pipe by hand into the platform's underside. Then you screw the four riser pipes into the desk's frame, and that part is solid. The receptacle where the screw threads into the small black platform looks like it's a cheap plastic piece weakly glued into the fiberboard, and them twisted out of the hole and broke. This happened just twisting the riser in by hand. I had to superglue them back in. 3Best Workstation I have owned I've purchased several workstations over the years and I've got to say this one is probably one of the best ones I've ever purchased. It has plenty of room, I have a 32-inch monitor as well as 2 24 inch monitors and I still have room for my laptop and various other things and it has a pullout keyboard tray.It's extremely durable I've had it for almost a year and is showing no signs of wear anywhere. If you put it together correctly it's good and solid as a rock, assembly was easy, I did it by myself and only made one adjustment by moving the keyboard tray over to the long side which I found very easy to do.I like the supports between the legs because they are perforated and it made it very easy for me to mount my UPS there without having to drill the other holes and keeps it off the floor, this also makes it perfect for cord management.Shipping was fast and it arrived into boxes, however, I was missing one part and Aosom Direct, the seller, reacted quickly with service that is some of the best customer service I've received and would even rival Amazon and got the part to me very quickly.I would not hesitate to recommend this desk to anyone because of his quality in this durability as well as plenty of legroom and versatility. 5Not very nice but seems sturdy..ish Received yesterday, box a little beat up as usual for shipping. Inside the parts were packed well and weren't damaged. The part quality overall was not great. Welds were lazy and uneven, powder coat was runny, and the desk top holes were poorly aligned. No tools included (good) and the directions were scattered but all there. Assembly was ok, the major issue was the wood desktops bolt holes were far off and use plastic t-nuts. Plastic t-nuts is a level of cheap I've never even heard of but I guess just don't lift up on the table top. After assembly the desk looks ok as long as you glance at it and don't dwell. Appears fairly sturdy. Will report on durability as this desk will function as a multi purpose hobby computer station. It will likely have a rough life so we will see. At this point I would recommend it for light duty in low traffic areas. It certainly isn't "nice" but may be functional. 4one for me) and they're great!
