We got a used unit. Not happy.The product appears to be ok, however, the unit we recieved had WATER in it already and was visibly dirty. The home we are installing it in doesn't have water running to it yet, so we were caught off guard when it started dripping. I didn't expect to get a used product for the price paid. Disappointed.1Nice shower experienceMy wife wanted a handheld shower. I wanted a rainshower head. We ordered this one as a compromise...turns out it wasn't a compromise at all, we both love it. The water pressure is perfect - not too wimpy and not too strong, it is just right actually. The 6" head is a great size as well, nice coverage. Great flow. Large size and coverage works as great rain showerhead and the handheld and 3 settings are awesome to use.But it would come with hose and shower mount, even if they charge for it. Its a hassle having to find and order these in addition. I could not find brushed nickle mount from Hansgrohe and other brand mount i got does not tilt down enough to allow downward flow. If it was not for these issues this would get 5 stars4Not The Best Shower ExperienceThe Rain Air setting provides a delicate shower that is much like being in a very gentle spring rain. You feel the droplets, especially if the head is mounted 12" or more above your head. However, there is a bit too much restriction, even with the restrictor removed. I have fairly high pressure. I expected better from Hansgrohe. The housing does not look real durable and has some plastic parts, but the fit and finish is nice.3suites my requirementsThis is a superior product. I have another (still in use) for 8 years; no problems. This is a rain shower: the water comes out in separated drops like rain rather that a steady stream. It is very soothing and very pleasant way to shower.5Don't waste your money!Don't waste your money on this expensive shower head from Hansgrohe. I purchased it to replace an identical shower head that "leaked"... water would cascade out of the handle side of the appliance. I purchased this replacement on 4/15/2018 and initially it worked well, but within 3 months it too was leaking water (see image). Not a quality device and cannot be repaired. Save your time and money.1Good coverage, good water pressureI replaced an older, smaller hansgrohe shower head with the raindance S 150 because I wanted fuller coverage with good pressure, and I got both. I haven't removed the plastic flow inhibitor because I have good water pressure and really don't need to. However, if you have very low water pressure, you probably will want to remove the flow inhibitor. This shower head is quite expensive, and I would think there is a less expensive shower head that would do a good job. However, I already had the hansgrohe hose and connections, all of which are in good condition and don't need replacement.5Finally, Japanese Hotel Shower Quality in the States!If you've ever visited Japan you know how fantastic the hotel showers are there! I've always assumed that their high-flow and high-pressure shower heads were made by a Japanese manufacturer and didn't want to go through the identifying, locating, purchasing, and Customs hassles to bring one back to the USA.Recently a coworker was staying at the Excel Tokyu hotel inside HND with time to kill and stood on a chair to identify the shower head brand. You guessed it - Hansgrohe! I ordered this one to replace my existing Grohe showerhead. Grohe and Hansgrohe are completely different product lines, and appear to be completely different companies. Anyway, the 28519821 turned out to be everything I had hoped. The push-button just under the face toggles among the knock-down pressure I mentioned earlier, a softer high volume full pattern spray, and an effective massage pattern. I guess the secret is their 3-Point Air Injection technology which apparently enables the high pressure and flow while consuming less water than you'd think (2.5 GPM). I highly recommend this product along with the 27474821 Rain Shower head I purchased at the same time. The combination of the two is unbeatable!BTW - my coworker bought his at e-faucets, however Amazon was $50 cheaper and 2 day Prime delivery versus 7-10 day ground from e-faucets!5Don't Drop It!I bought this to replace the same shower wand that stopped working. I dropped it on the tile floor one time during the first few months after it was installed, and it progressively failed over the next two years. Finally something popped internally and the water started streaming out the perimeter. It turned out that the housing had cracked from when it was dropped and that allowed the internals to move out of place.The replacement part is identical to the original, and it's nice to have a fully functional shower head again. The range from full massage to smooth rainfall works great, and it's a neat looking product as well. Just don't drop it!5this shower head looks and feels amazing. It is an older model and I have ...First of all, this shower head looks and feels amazing. It is an older model and I have now owned two of these. Unfortunately, they have both had the same problem. I live in Hong Kong (A US Expat) and the water pressure here is quite strong. They don't have the same water shortage issues as in much of the states. The first of these came with my apartment and worked great for the first 3.5 years that I lived here. Sadly, it developed major leaks. essentially, the grey plastic portion seemed to pop out of the chrome casing a bit and water shot out from all sides. Catastrophic failure. So I bought another one here on Amazon about 4 months ago. This one has just had the same problem.Full disclosure - I took the flow restrictor out and I think these things just can't handle higher water pressure.3
