    Awesome shower head Got this to replace my original E 150 shower head as my house's water pressure wasn't that ideal for a 6" shower head.This 4" model simply looks way nicer than the E series (more expensive too), and the increase in water pressure due to the smaller shower head is simply awesome.Works simply as advertised~ 5poorly made. The shower pressure is nice, however, the problem with this shower head is that it's not made of a durable material, God forbid you drop it, the plastic part that goes around the shower head itself breaks! We are onto the second one and it just broke! Will try to get it replaced under the warranty. 1Not good. No pressure i replaced the exact same shower head (same everything) and the pressure is about half of what it was. it's poorly constructed and i don't feel it will last more than a year. they used to make really good shower heads, now they are not good and they fail at achieving any normal water pressure. 1Handles well After having been disappointed by a previously ordered shower head, this one made up for that experience. I need a lot of water power to rinse my hair, and this shower head delivers. It's light and has a good angle as well as gradual spray adjustment. The flat top also looks modern and sleek without the bulky curves I've disliked in other designs. My fave of all shower heads I've owned! 5A Disappointment For Me A very warm, low pressure shower head, poorly suited as a handheld unit. Those who primarily use it as a fixed shower, who don't need their pressure amplified, and who don't care about saving water will like the unit just fine, particularly if a warm, gentle, and long shower is what you are after.Here's why: the Raindance effect depends on gravity not water pressure and needs about 2-4 feet of drop before it becomes pronounced. It reminds me of a suspended bucket with holes in the bottom but is, I suppose, a bit like showering in the rain. However, if the unit is taken off the mount and directed upwards the main jets (broad setting) begin to falter after two inches. Only a few drops make it as high as four inches. This means it will take some time to rinse soap from your body. The longer shower that other reviewers have mentioned is not a luxury. It's necessary.In general my water pressure is modest but not terrible. I've had several cheaper hand showers that worked better. They just didn't last.The Hansgrohe unit has no trickle or "off" function, so if you want that you'll need to purchase an additional valve.Build quality is also okay but not great. The unit is made of plastic which makes it lightweight, but it lacks the impressive "quality" of my Hansgrohe kitchen faucet which cost about the same. 3Three Stars It was too small but I couldn't tell that from the picture. 3It didn't work for me. It needs the vertical bar. Not meant to be main shower head I like this brand and I"m sure it would be great if you were looking for a supplementary shower head that is installed on either side of the main head. I needed one as the main head so this did not work. This review is meant as a cautionary tale so other's don't make the same mistake. Thankfully Amazon is wonderful and I was able to return it. 3Nice handheld If you don't mind the plastic look where the water comes out, then this is a really nice two spray shower head. It lets you pick from rain (normal shower) to a hard stream so only two options. My plumber says most people put these in just to clean the shower. I use it to clean my kids (I mounted it lower for them to use). No complaints. The head is as big as a "normal" shower head you would find anywhere so your not missing anything if you use this as your main. I have it with the Hansgrohe raindance main shower head which is much larger in diameter. 4great just love 5Not legal in California any more I bought this item once before to replace a cracked shower head. The plastic cracks fairly easily if you drop it.I've was trying to purchase a new one, but Amazon has refused to ship to my address. There was no explanation. I finally figured out that the new California regulations put a limit on the water float at 1.8 GPM (gallons per limit), whereas this shower head allows 2.5 GPM. The vendor should update the product description to clarify that the item is not legal in California any more. 3
