Quality, 10" of rain splendorLove these showerheads, put 2 in my home. Quality product with the rain feel. The air between the drops is noticeable and creates a spa, light rain feel. You may think it isn't removing the shampoo/conditioner out of your hair BUT it definitely does. Chrome adds that little sparkle the room needed. Lots of compliments. 10" is perfect size to cover you with water, no cold spots. 5Got it right second timeBuy this one it's AMAZING!After spending a fortune to remodel my bathroom I went cheap for a shower head the first time...Don't do it!Some people say it is not forceful enough to rinse your hair good enough. My wife begs to differ. She loves the gentle rain flow and it rinses fine.It is not cheap but you know the old saying! 5Relaxing feelWe have had multiple homes with rain shower baths and have always used higher grade heads. After reading about the water disbursement system in this head we decided to compare it to the Moen Waterhill head. For a better rainfall experience the larger diameter heads are important, both of these are 9 heads that cover a larger body portion. Both heads are rated at 2-5 GPM. I always remove the restrictor for maximum flow. The Moen provided good even coverage but was a more traditional flow with a finer water droplet. The Hansgrohe has more outlets the drops are larger for a relaxing gentle feel. Although the water rates are the same the air injection in the Hansgrohe seems to require a little longer to remove soap however the feel was more relaxed. One other thing we noted was the amount of water splatter is also less. We have large glass enclosure and are particular to clean the glas after each shower and there is much less water on the glass with this head. I contribute the less splatter to the air in the droplets. While both are good heads we opted for the Hansgrohe relaxing feel. 5AMAZING! Stop searching, buy this now! Let them take your money and love every shower you take!If I could give this 10 stars, I would. Its amazing! Plain and simple. It does everything I wanted out of a rain shower head, period!I'm one of those guys who searches, reads reviews, searches some more, reads more reviews, goes to other sites, searches more, and reads more reviews. Bottom line is, I don't buy things unless I've read at least 30-50 reviews from people who own it, use it, and tell it like it is.I would list some cons if there were some, but I have found none. It has great coverage and it feels like you're standing in a downpour.I have this mounted in the ceiling directly over head with a 6" plumbing extention (Grohe 27 217 000 Rainshower 6-Inch Ceiling Shower Arm, StarLight Chrome). My house is new construction with high ceilings (9 ft). My wife hates rain shower heads so I had them install this one for me and then a conventional wall one for her. Although they have independent water controls they must share a water line because when I turn both on the water pressure is less, although I still get great flow from my rain shower head.Look with all that said, take it from a guy who is super picky, reads everything he can before he buys something, and I tell you, stop searching, buy this. Give them your money. You wont look back.As of writing this review, I've used it for 2 weeks. I'll update if anything changes. If you read this and the review is a year old, then assume nothing has changed and this thing is still making me feel like I'm taking showers in a luxury hotel somewhere exotic. 5Not a spa-like feelingI purchased a rain shower head hoping for like that drenching rain spa-like shower experience. That is not the case. It's maybe 50% amount of water that I would expect.In terms of washing off soap and shampoo lather, it's does wash off the lather, but you need to help it with your hands. The water itself doesn't do it alone.Most of the time, I just use the body/handheld spray to wash my off soap/shampoo lather.As a reference, my water pressure is 70 psi. 2let them take your money and enjoy your best shower timeI agree with one of the previous review: let them take your money and enjoy your best shower time! This is the third shower head we purchased for our master bathroom. First one didn't give enough water power, second one was wrong size...So I finally find this one. After reading all the reviews I wanted to buy it right away already. I forced myself to wait and talked to my constructor about how to install this. At first he said NO, saying it's too late to add something like this. I didn't give up though cause I really want to try this. So I called Hansgrohe customer service and a very nice gentleman explained to me on how this works....Long story short, I bought this and I'm so happy with the purchase. 5Great shower head but needs a new stem nut.Works great. Just like real rain. My only complaint is that there isn't enough clearance to fit a spanner wrench on the stem nut. The actual stem is really close to the rotating ball so if you try to use a spanner wrench it will strip the stem nut. A 17mm wrench must be used.Personally, I feel that a shower head at this price point would have everything near perfect and I didn't find that to be the case. Especially since a $19.99 shower head from WallyWorld has plenty of space for tightening the stem nut. 4Now we have it and are more than pleased. I wish I could say the same for ...We just recently built a new house and the master bath is the showcase of the construction - a 5' x 7' steam shower with electronic controls and body sprayers. The whole 9 yards. This was the shower head we chose and we couldn't possibly be happier. I wish I could say the same for most of the other stuff we bought. This thing is fantastic. It is big enough that you are completely drenched in water from the second you step in. If you are looking for a rainfall shower then this is the one to get. Worth every penny. 5Believe the wisdom of the crowd, this unit is greatCandidly, I have no real experience buying or using other rain shower heads, but when I did my pre-purchase research, it seemed like a lot of them get mixed reviews because they have low flow, or behave inconsistently depending on a home's water pressure, or they're so large and heavy that they sag down, or they're so small that they don't really act like a rain shower, etc. This Hansgrohe unit was the only rain shower head that seemed to get consistently great reviews across the board, so I decided to take a chance on what is, by all accounts, a rather expensive unit. In sum, I'm glad I did: this shower head works well, produces a nice volume of water and a comfortable all-over drenching rain shower that feels great and rinses me off quickly and effectively. Add my endorsement to the list: highly recommended. 5
