    Bigger than I expected You can read the specks all you want but you done get the true feel of a products size until you have it in your hand. I used this no a very small bar sink and while it works great I probably should have chosen a smaller product...unfortunately I was trying to match an existing faucet on a nearby kitchen sink. 4Hansgrohe beauty and functionality After having bought the Allegro regular sink faucet for our kitchen, it was a no-brainer to buy the same model for our bar sink. Hansgrohe has engineered these faucets for maximum ease of installation without special tools or the arm reach of a chimpanzee. It is beautiful and modern, with a good water flow and smooth operating handle. I love the high arc especially in a bar sink where you're often using taller glasses, shakers, etc. 5Great faucet Used this in a kitchen island for a bar/prep sink. Similar in style to the a different Allegro faucet we used for the main kitchen sink. Doesn't extend or have a wand but it works great as a basic but very attractive sink. 5As good as it gets Really the nicest bar faucet ever, arrived quickly, great price with no stress here on Amazon. The only minor detail I can add about this high quality faucet is that the braided stainless steel connections are a bit on the short side, I had to add 3" extensions to reach the stop valves. 5Tall Faucet.... Nice tall prep sink faucet for our kitchen remodel. We purchased it to match out Hansgrohe main sink faucet - it is tall and sleek with a nice flow for dinner preparation.... 5Looks great in our new kitchen Looks great in our new kitchen! Love Hansgrohe faucets. We have five in our bathrooms and two in our kitchen. They're beautiful and very functional. Everyone compliments them in both locations. The only downside is that our plumber said the parts were harder to work with to install since they aren't the standard American parts, but once he got over that it wasn't very difficult and didn't cause any problems. 5If you want this faucet, but it on Amazon!! I like it a lot; the handle works very easily the spout swings easily.I wish I'd bought it on Amazon I paid more than $100 MORE than this :-( 4Excellent bar faucet but missing a base plate We purchased this Hansgrohe 14801801 Allegro E Bar Faucet, Steel Optik to match a nearby kitchen faucet, another Hansgrohe Allegro. Like the other reviewer mentioned, it is a bit larger than I'd like but it still fits and looks fantastic.It is made of all heavy duty brass and there is not a single plastic part...In my opinion, way way better than the most faucets at local hardware stores.I would have given a 5 star rating but this faucet does not come with a base plate as it requires only a single hole for installation. However, it would have been nice to include a base plate for people installing on existing 2 or 3 hole sink. Now I have to purchase a base plate separately :-( 4
