    Better then a $1000 mattress I have had my mattress for, no lie, 20+ years...I bought my first Memory Foam 2 inch mattress pad about 8 years ago because I could not afford a new mattress at the time..and since I am a "woman of size" and sleep in the middle of my bed, on my badk...all the time....needless to say I get a "dip".I had to make a decision recently, after 8 years...buy a new mattress..I love memory foam...and spend a bundle...or try a thicker Memory Foam MattressPad. I went for the 4 inch mattress pad. I sleep soundly every night and do not wake up with aches and pains and I am not a "spring chicken".The purchase is well worth the investment...and much less then what I would have had to spend...for the same results. 5Very Soft...... Great Product I purchased this product because my girl friends bed kills me. I would wake up sore and feel like someone had beat me with a bat all night long. Now that I have this on the top I sleep great and wake up feeling great. It is very soft. I first placed this on the floor and laid down on it to see if I would sink down and touch the floor. I weigh 285 pounds and I did not sink all the way down.....which is good and much better than I thought.I own a posterpedic bed that I paid over five grand for and this simple 4" foam feels better. Had I known this sooner I could have saved myself a lot of money.One suggestion I would make is to buy this product in 2" inch increments.I honestly think the 4" is to soft. I wish I had bought it 2" thick.....and tested.....and if I needed more ........then buy another one either 1" inch thick or another 2" inch thick item. This allows you to get the right amount of comfort because if you go all in and get the 4" inch like I did. If you find it is to soft.....there is nothing you can do about it.....however if you bought 2" inch thick and put another 2" on top and found it to soft......you simply remove the top 2" inch section. Just food for thought.Overall I love this product. 5My last was 7 years old and still nothing wrong with it - just felt like replacing it because that this mattress is 4inch 5LB All Outstanding. Seller is "All Sleep". This mattress is genuine memory foam, not the cheap foam or layered foam. I've been sleeping on memory foam for 10 years now - 4inch 4LB. My last was 7 years old and still nothing wrong with it - just felt like replacing it with a new mattress is 4inch 4LB, a little denser. I ordered it and it was delivered in 4 days up here in Everett, WA. It was outstanding watching it expand - followed instructions, removed from box and slowly let it expand length wise still in the plastic wrap for a couple hours. Placed it on the bed, removed the plastic and gently finished fully unfolding it. Total time 4 hour to full expansion, not days. Too, this new mattress had almost no odors, very slight odor compared to how bad my 7yr old smelled when it was new. I always study and research before buying especially reading the reviews. I am highly pleased with this purchase from All Sleep. The push up molding support into my lower back is Awesome for my 6'2" 238LB. 5Excellent Topper, Softer When Warm The 4" - 4 lb density Memory Foam mattress topper from All Sleep is excellent. I upgraded from an older 1.5", much firmer foam topper and the difference is amazing. It is so comfortable to sleep on. It feels very soft, more so the warmer it gets (from body heat).The company, All Sleep has provided amazingly GREAT customer service. They initiated email contact to get feedback shortly after I received it (it arrived early, by the way), and after about 5 days when I replied indicating that I thought it was much softer than I expected and the smell was still noticeable after 5 days, they replied back to me the SAME DAY and told me they have arranged for a replacement and return of the original. I give the company VERY high marks for their customer service and the way they handled my concerns.So, today, after thinking about it creatively, I am trying something before I just return it - I decided to put my older foam topper on top of this one, and I laid down on this configuration, it felt like the perfect "softness" and support for me, so I am giving it another night to test this combo out. Honestly, I really don't want to return this topper, as it is well made and the company (All Sleep) has been very quick to offer a complete refund if it doesn't work for me. I will update in a few months if anything changes, but I expect this to be a whole new "slumbering-like-a-queen-on-a-cloud" experience.When the topper arrived it had a strong odor, but I expected that, based on other reviews. I aired it out, using a 16" fan and open windows, for about 2.5 days, then put it on my bed with a waterproof mattress cover and sheets, and the odor is dissipating now. All Sleep suggested using a bowl of vinegar, or lemon juice, in the room to help with that, so I plan to do that today, as well.Bottom line, it was worth all the effort to figure out what works best for me... this is a really great product. 5Terrific topper!!! I absolutely LOVE this topper. It is the real deal, 4 lb density and 4" thick. This is what is recommended for someone like me with back problems and it is perfect. BTW, it doesn't come with a cover. I tell you this just so you won't be disappointed. You really don't need one. I put mine between the mattress and the mattress pad and it works great. Eventually I will get mattress and box spring enclosed covers then it won't be directly against my mattress. I just changed from a twin bed to a full. I bought a brand new Sealy Posterpedic mattess and I had to get the firm one because the soft wouldn't give me the underneath support that I need. But the firm was a little too firm. But with this topper the bed is perfect.The last topper I tried was the "2" Lucid by LinenSpa Ventilated Memory Foam Mattress Topper." It had a 4.4 rating out of 295 reviewers. It was nice, but didn't work for me. It doesn't even say what the density is, but I'm sure it was less then 4 lbs. Also, ventilated means that there are little holes all thru it. But, for the price it was okay. I gave it to a friend who doesn't have the issues I have and she loves it. My advice is if you have any physical pain or back problems don't skimp in the topper. And Amazon absolutely has the best price. This topper is several hundred dollars sold other places.(Even though it may sound like it because I'm so enthusiastic, I do not work for Amazon or the company that makes these. I have no relationship with them.) 5King is too small This is a little small. The king is 75x78, but a king mattress is supposed to be 76x80. Given the price, I'm disappointed that they shaved off some inches to, presumably, cut costs. The 4 inch 4 pound king is pretty heavy, which speaks to quality. However, it isn't quite as firm as I'd like (i.e., you sink in to it too easily). I'll keep it. I'm adding this to my previous set up of 4 inches of traditional foam and 4 inches of memory foam (another brand), which was insufficient and I was sinking to the bottom. Now with 12 inches of foam, including this item, it feels much better. But don't fool yourself into thinking that this item alone would be sufficient as a mattress. It is a topper, not a mattress. I'm a side sleeper with some injury issues, so memory foam is necessary for me. A temperdedic (sp?) is too expensive for me given that I can put three toppers together to create a similar effect for dramatically less money. Bonus tip: if you have a slat bed (e.g., Ikea), and you're creating a memory foam "mattress" out of toppers, you can use cardboard boxes between the slats and the mattress so that you don't break the slats. Otherwise when you put a knee down on the bed, you'll break right through the cheap Ikea slats (learned that the hard way years ago). 3DELICIOUS Have you ever dreamt of sleeping in a bed of marshmallows, or as a kid, did you ever wonder how nice it would be to sleep on top of puffy clouds? This is probably what you imagined. I can honestly say that this mattress topper is probably more comfortable than my bed at home. For comparison, my bed at home is made completely out of memory foam. The mattresses provided by my college dorms are thin, hard and horrible to sleep on, but sleeping on this mattress topper has made me forget the mattress even exists. Honestly you could probably throw out the mattress and sleep on this alone.I specifically picked a very thick, very dense mattress topper for maximum comfy-ness. If firmer beds are more of your thing, you can probably go with a topper that is less dense or thinner. Also, I HIGHLY recommend buying a waterproof mattress cover, not for your dorm mattress, but for the topper. Being that the toper is made almost entirely out of foam, it will pick up any liquids and odors that spill on it very quickly, yes you will sweat on it and it will smell bad after a couple of months. You've invested the money in the topper, invest the money in the cover.Next year when I move to an off-campus apartment I am definitely buying a larger version of this topper for that bed. 10/5 purchase 5Super Duper Some of the reviews were mixed so I was a little nervous but here you go.1. No bad smell. So maybe I got a good batch or somebody else got a bad one.2. My feet don't rise higher than my head when I'm lying on this mattress. One review said his feet was higher than his head! lol That's hilarious. The 4lb weight I think is a must.3. It's not hard to turn over at all. Someone said hard to turn over. I don't have any problems turning over.4. I'm a size 16 female, my weight isn't your business lol but just saying.. I'm pretty normal size for in my 50's and this bed is easy to get in and out of and it's very comfortable.5. I will say I have a ISOcool pad covering this memory foam. Maybe that helps? But I don't find myself sinking or whatever like some people said. It's comfortable.6. Over time I'm thinking the firmer is going to hold up better... we'll see.So far I've had this one a week and I'm very happy with the purchase.7. You can't expect support.. this is a mattress topper not a mattress ok? Be realistic ... This is to make your too hard mattress softer and make it last longer. Also get rid of pressure points and make your sleep comfort level more like an expensive mattress while simply switching out less expensive toppers instead of spending 2,500 for an expensive mattress.8. Lastly but not the least important.. this mattress is not as hot as the other toppers I've bought in the past. I don't know why but it's cooler. 5I would recommend a 3 lb density or so but 4 inches ... This is REAL memory foam; buy this!! No actual issues with the product as listed so far.If you are smaller (150 lbs or less, roughly), I would recommend a 3 lb density or so but 4 inches (at least) is definitely a great thickness if you're a side sleeper.My wife is a lightweight side sleeper with wide bony hips that caused a pressure point with the 4 lb density so we also have a 2 inch cooling memory foam on top of this pad that is very low density (around 2 lb or less). The bed really depends on the body but this pad was totally fine for me (male under 150 lbs) all by itself. The additional soft top pad makes the mattress great for both of us. Multi-layers may be the way to go! Especially if you want real memory foam support, soft feel on the top layer, and a cooler sleep.No they do not slide at all. No the smell is not bad; let it air out.*The bad reviews are mostly due to pads being defective. It was probably a bad batch. Just register your warranty. Mine is still fine after moving it between rooms a lot. 5GREAT Customer Service UPDATE:My initial review showed that I wasn't completely satisfied with my purchase.The merchant saw my review, contacted me, and went out of their way tofix the issue.You don't get customer service like that anymore. I was very impressed withtheir high level of customer service and change my rating because of that.I would use them again, because even if I wasn't 100% satisfied, I would havethe reassurance that they would fix it.(they also gave me a free King size flat memory foam pillow that works GREATfor me.) 4
