    It really works! Used to use these all the time for my electric kettle but couldn't find them when I moved. Found them on Amazon, thankfully! They do an awesome job and all you have to do is give it a rinse as needed and it goes back in the kettle. Simple but effective! 5Love this! Love this scale collector. It's kept my once limescale ridden kettle clean and bright. It's saved me so much time constantly cleaning it out. The product rinses out easily and doesn't make any noise when kettle is boiling. 5One Star Didn't get rid of the little bits in the bottom of the kettle 1It works! Was skeptical at first but it really works. We have hard water and I drink tea every night. The kettle would get a nasty buildup of mineral deposits in the bottom after about a week of use and would be a pain to scrub. Saw this scale collector and figured it if it didn't work I wasn't out much money. It's been at least a month and I haven't had to scrub my kettle once! Just wash every week. It even sits with water in it. I just rinse it and the scale collector before use. 5Helps a lot I use a glass electric kettle and live in a rural area. If I don't use this, within 3-4 uses, the water in the pot takes on a horrible metallic flavor like ancient outdoor water fountains. With this product, I can get a few weeks use of pot before having to give it a vinegar treatment. I never see debris build up on it like I did on the one we had in a metal teakettle when I was a kid, but I tend to rinse it out fairly often, and as I said, I'm using it in a glass kettle now. 5Best for city water Works for about a week with my well water. Needs de scaling weekly here. 3It doesn t work! This is supposed to keep minerals from settling on the bottom of your electric tea kettle and the minerals are supposed to collect on this little wire ball. I really wanted it to work because I can t stand seeing minerals collecting. It just seems nasty. Guess I ll keep cleaning with vinegar because this doesn t work. 1Did not work for me. I still see the ... Did not work for me. I still see the scale floating around in the kettle. Not any less, if not more. 2Works pretty well but not 100% This does collect scale but It doesn't collect it all, I still have to clean out my kettle weekly. Now understand that I have almost straight well water in SoCal which is VERY hard. So it helps but doesn't get rid of all the scale. 3wonderful sure keeps my kettle clean! wonderful invention 5
