    Very good trimmer. Sharp blade, easy to read measurements. Light weight but sturdy.This trimmer cuts great. Blade is sharp and cuts a true straight line. Most important to me is the measurements are in white on a black background, which makes it easy to read even with my poor vision.Mostly using for card stock (up to 120 lb.) and copier paper. I'm not interested in cutting multiple sheets at once, more interested in accurancy, so I can't say for sure it cuts multiple pages accuragely. 5It does the first cut pretty well but when you have to do the fine ...This is ok for the price. It does the first cut pretty well but when you have to do the fine trimming it sometimes bends the paper and you have to hold the guard tightly in order for it to cut properly. I have also found that if you go slower it does seem to do a little better with the fine trimming. With the handle down it is roughly 14 inches wide and from the top including the handle length is 19.5 inches. 3A GREAT CUTTER!A Great Paper cutter/trimmer! Been using this daily for almost a year now and without a doubt has performed better than anything we tried previously. Well made, sturdy and hasnt needed a sharpen, after 12 months of daily use!!! That says something! Would recommend to anyone needing a cutter of this type! 5Cuts straight and I love the light weight and the handle for easy storage.I purchased this trimmer several months ago, but did not want to type a review until I had used it for several months. I was concerned about purchasing this product because of some of the feedback stating it does not cut straight - but I have not had that issue at all. It cuts perfectly straight for me. It makes the same 'slicing sound' that a heavy-duty guillotine cutter makes, which surprised me a little since it is so light weight. That sound means that the blade is coming in full contact with the metal plate with the same amount of pressure that an expensive heavier cutter has.To avoid uneven cuts, I have found that I have to take extra time ensuring that the left-side of the paper lines up perfectly on the grid line all the way down the page, but that is true for any guillotine paper cutter. Plus, I put my left hand on the paper and press down in order to ensure that the paper does not move while cutting.When I am cutting a lot of pages, and want them all to be exact (making an 8" x 5.5" coil-bound book), I place a strip of electrical tape on the grid so I can quickly butt the left side of the paper up to the edge of the tape, and make the cut.I love how light weight this trimmer is, (approximately 2-3 pounds), and how easy it is to carry with the handle on one end. It slides easily under my couch for storage. I would recommend this to a friend in a heartbeat. 5Great paper trimmerI've wanted a paper trimmer for a long time, but didn't want to spend a bundle for something bulky and heavy.I saw this on Amazon and decided to give it a try. It's great! I've already used it far more often then I'd expected I would. It's really come in handy to have. It's very well made, smaller then large bulky ones, lightweight, yet heavy enough to stay in place. It's very sharp, but has a safety to hold the blade in place when not in use, so safe for storage.It's simple to use and cuts easily through several pieces of paper and even a piece of a lighter card board item. The measuring increments on it make it easy to cut a neat, straight, even line.I would and already have recommended this trimmer to friends. What a handy item to have in a home. 5VERY pleasantly surprised.I had a larger,but much older guillotine trimmer, forever and ever, that I used to death for large print jobs right up until we lost everything in a house fire two years ago. I was skeptical ordering this as it is smaller and it's made for home use (I do use mine at home, but for professional use,) however, I needed one again and the price was right to try this out. I was very pleasantly surprised. Yes, it will take a little getting used to the smaller size compared to the one I had, but size-wise, my old one was overkill for most of the jobs I put it through. The blade on this is awesome and (unlike my old one which was due to be sent away for a few weeks to get an expensive professional sharpening) it says the blade will never need sharpening. It's also lightweight, so I don't have to have it set up all the time, I can put it back in its box between uses to store under my desk and use the work space it would have taken up for other tasks. I'm very pleased. I had purchased this with the idea that I'd use it only until I could afford something close to what I'd had before, but I like it so much that I think it's going to be my permanent cutter. Highly recommend this!! 5Excellent paper cutter!I'm not sure why there were so many bad reviews for this paper cutter. I've been using it for all of my wedding projects and it has been nothing but excellent! I cut all of my invitations, detail cards, and RSVPs on heavy cardstock, 4 sheets at a time and it cut them like butter with one quick slice of the blade. I like the finger guard and blade locking mechanism for safety. It also has nice, clear ruler markings that make cutting more accurate. The only thing I didn't like about this paper cutter is that it is so lightweight that you have to make sure you hold it down or it can move. I just put a small paperweight on the top and bottom where my paper didn't reach and it was fine.This is all based on my previous experiences using a paper cutter in schools and offices, so this is great for at home!Seriously a great deal for the price! 4The best paper cutter EVER!Hands down the best and most affordable paper cutter I've had. It's lightweight, the blade is super sharp and it cuts very straight. It's easy to align the paper for an exact measurement, and is very simple to use. I use it primarily when I trim down my shipping labels, so mostly one page at a time, but I have also tried a few pages at a time and these are thick papers with the adhesive back and it did an amazing job. I used it to cut card stock as well as very thin tissue paper. All came out precise and straight. Don''t hesitate if you're considering this product. You won't be disappointed. I just wish I hadn't waited this long to replace my older, more expensive cutter which was never this good even when I first got it. 5Very disappointed!Very disappointed. I purchased this item despite so misgivings because of the reviews. What a disappointment! The cutter arm had too much play in it and I believe the grid was slightly off. It goes back today! I do appreciate Amazon's return policy. 1Not a perfect cut, good for gradeschool or the office, but not professional workI needed to cut paper at exactly a 90 degree angle. When using this trimmer to cut a piece of paper the long way, from top to bottom the cut is off by 1mm. It doesn't seem like a lot, but when you're pasting pieces of cut paper together and the cuts are all off, it's now impossible to get the job done without 1mm gaps everywhere. I have a project I'm working on and I was really hoping this paper cutter would be the correct purchase, but now my project will have to be put off by another week or so until I purchase a better paper cutter that will do the job. 1
