They have many great features and are simple to use. They are waterproof, the button and cord-fob glow in the dark. The package says it will run for 79 hours on the included alkaline batteries. I installed lithium batteries which will extend the run time (and shelf life) even further.5Purchased for emergency kitsI got these for my emergency kits. Good price. My son brought this to camp for two weeks and he said that it is perfect for hiking.5good valueI purchased two of these and they are pretty bright for an inexpensive 1 led flashlight. Also, these have a long shelf life with good batteries (which were included). I tested the waterproof and floating features, which both work well. Based on the type of led bulb and 2 AA batteries, I don't think it will go 79 hours. Maybe around the 50 hour mark with standard batteries. I will try to test this out the few days with a fresh set of batteries. I am going to use one for boating. I lost a pretty nice flashlight before after dropping it in the water. Looked in the fish finder and it was 65 feet down.On a side note: I purchased these flashlights with rechargeable batteries and a good solar charger for camping. I've had some quality flashlights that fried after a rainstorm. Waterproof is imprtant.5No more tactical flashlights for mePlenty bright. I can throw a beam hundreds of feet which is enough for me. I use it to walk my dog at night. Sturdy. I ve dropped it several times with no problems. I ll never buy another tactical flashlight. They eat batteries and you have to cycle through 5 different modes before you can shut them off.5Very practical Have like 10 of them.
